@@joey42 i tried, but the octa midi program change cant seem to be pared with it. even when u try to put an X at the P (Midi Menu of EMX), it's strange cause a ESX can program change the EMX and visa versa but the octatrack cant? I don't get this

@@astro_poly so you do want the octatrack, to trigger a program change in the emx1, e.g. from A01 to A02. Right? Actually I just got my emx back from repair and I need to reinstall my MIDI chains with it. So far I used the Octatrack to add some more random drums into the emx loops, but have not changed a pattern. I find it much easier to do this live on the hardware. However, I will look into this... but it will take some days, since I need finish some other projects first.

@@joey42 No problem, that would be lovely! I don't think it's possible directly, dont know why this is. I tried every possible method, midi channel, from octatrack, from DAW. In forums no one seems to figure this out and the conversation always stops halfway. I'm very curious about your way into this and would love to know how when you find out! Tnx in advance!

@@astro_poly have you checked the MIDI Filter settings of the EMX? The program change needs to be transmitted on the MIDI Chanel for Synth1

the korg is goin in to the OT just as a single track , this way i can use the OT as a master mix. all the changes are from the korg.

Nice combo ! I also have the OT sequencing the emx, but there is a slight midi delay between the two, do you have the same problem ? So far, i've used micro timing to compensate the delay but its not very convenient...

I like! A very interesting and creative sound. In my eyes, a perfect setup...Octatrack and 1 decent synth, forces you to be creative within boundaries. Good stuff.

Hey, what about your blofeld. Did you get a new one? Octatrack + blofeld + your creativity= awesome!! Get a blofeld again, sit down and make music again in this combo. You have your own unique stile.

great video! I have an Octatrack and I'm consdering buying a Blofeld, as it seems like a great match... I wonder if you could ask me a question - did you had any problem with multitimbral mode? I've read that it might get glitchy, or freeze... it would be esential for me to be able to use it in that mode, to have separate melody / bass lines... thanks!

good tune! could use a little more Hi Equalizer before you upload your tracks. My electribes sound muddy aswell.. i tell you, get another electribe for the second input on your ot! thats a whole 'nother dimension :) keep up the good work! im lookin forward to hear some new sessions from you!

nice sound out of the tribe =) got 2 emx and an ot + kp3 for livesets, and cant think of why ppl use macbook for producing! keep up the good work, u have a fine ear!

many tanks barry!i don't know way most of people use softwears to produce ,but for me the feeling with my instruments it's very important,after ages now i can get the sound i want out of the electribe,i think it's a really good machine if you know how to use it.

Oh no... That is sad news for me. You and these two machines together are unique and a total inspiration to me. It's ok I understand needing to move on. I just got a Blofeld, but there is no way I could use the OT + Blo like you. I'll look forward to what ever comes next anyway

can you hear a difference sampling apps in 16 or 24 bits? Do you notice a lack of low end coming from the iphone output?

Nice performance! Excellent usage of minimal gear, even considering the Octatracks near boundless powers ;-) The track is quite hypnotic, chilled and groovy in decent amounts, and the whole package keeps you captivated and enjoying the experience.
