Good Grief; there isn't a square foot of dry land anywhere! Not even inside. Not the most ideal conditions for the hoofs!

One channel I watch has conditions so dry that the hooves are cracking! They try and spill a bit of water over the troughs, but it doesn't help much. Seems like everyone has troubles!

Such a challenge on Dartmoor at this time of year ☔️ and every spare penny goes to feeding the ponies through winter. We would dearly love a waterproof barn but it would cost tens of thousands, we’d need a lottery win! 💰 We do apply for as many grants as possible and are fundraising all the time but I don’t think we’d ever manage to fundraise enough for a new barn 😥

Some years ago I offered my 3 acre grassed and secure paddock free to a 'chap' rescuing Dartmoor ponies. He put 28 in there! I even offered to buy 2 of them but the price he asked......

Come on everyone who owns horses and ponies. Get behind these guys and girls to save the Dartmoor ponies. Let's not get like other countries who cull animals for no reason. Save our ponies ❤❤

Bless so glad that you watch out for them. Even in the mud and muck. Yeah rainy days and winter not the best to be a pony or horse owner Gorgeous ponies ❤

Beautiful ponies. Glad they are well looked after and watched over. Annual checkup for them is vital Just please remove the music
