Why 100% cotton specifically?
@StephanieZed14 күн бұрын
You can use what you like, I also have a pattern using acrylic. 😃
@eyymanda3 күн бұрын
I personally prefer cotton because it isn't as stretchy as acrylic or other materials. The mesh stitch is stretchy enough, i feel like with acrylic yarn it'll have too much stretch. Up to the creator though!

Why do I have 20 loops instead of 19?
@FathiaRizkyAz-Zahra17 күн бұрын
i think maybe u did the first ch 5+sc in the first sc of the row, the tutorial mentions that u should put the sc in the second sc, im sorry if my words are confusing 😅
@reyrichelle702013 күн бұрын
@@FathiaRizkyAz-Zahra Thank you I had the same issue with having 20 loops and I realized that I put the sc in the first row/stitch instead of the second, you saved me so much time wondering what I did wrong, lol

I followed this pattern and used a 4.5 mm hook but the hat came out tiny. Mine measured the same as yours on the top but it would not even fit on my dogs head. Love the pattern but must play with it on the size. Thank you so much for a lovely pattern.

I have an adult version too. 😃
@Sophiecjp16 күн бұрын
@@StephanieZed I saw that. I was trying to make one for a 18 month old. I do crochet tight so I changed my hook to a 5.5mm and added 1 row at the top and now it fits perfectly. It is not the pattern it is the way I crochet. Ppl need to realize that we all crochet different instead of thinking it is the pattern. Your pattern is lovely and the directions are excellent. Thank you so much for posting💕

I am making the smaller bag and for some reason after i did 32 rows my bag was only 15 inches.. could it be because of my tension?
@XxNyctophiliaxX21 күн бұрын
Could be tension but also the hook size and or yarn size may be different. Also just double check you have enough stitches/rows every so often. (Helps so you don't make mistakes or when you do you spot them)
