I have watched your videos and some more than once to absorb what you are demonstrating. Thank you for breaking this down into 1 @ a time, and then, you add another section. It is far less overwhelming doing it one small grid at a time. Great work and skillset.

It's become my passion to share what I have learned over the years, and there's so much more to learn. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to see a specific design. Happy drawing!

Coming on nicly. What type of wood are you burning on?

I typically use pre-cut wood plates made of basswood for these types of projects.

I'm a woodturner, I have some round turning blanks and was thinking of making a 13" platter for the dinner table. The round celtic knot will be just the design to accent such a piece. Thank you very much for your clear and in-depth instructions. Even we woodworkers need help. John

I have tried this all day but I seem to have missed how to connect over the brakes. Still missing something. 🤔

When the thread goes over (or under) the break line it will hit the edge of the grid. You then turn and go to the diagonal (45 degree angle) for your new direction. Round out the corner to create a smooth thread. Hope that helps!

This version is is great up to drawing the circles and the division of sections....ie the grid in circular form. However to draw the knot.....this is not what I would use. Perhaps try the Nichols way on this grid.

This isn't really a tutorial, you just laid out your grid, added the circles, then quickly started with the lines as if you're in a hurry, not i.pressed!
