Does PICKit3 work for dsPIC33EP? For both flashing and debugging?

Pickit3 does not work with MPLAB X. You best bet to get a PICKIT5 or 4 or Low cost ?(Limited); MPLABX X. some in the MPLAB X menu or download files will list the programmer/ debugger compatibility with the Microcontroller choosen

Faulty diode or relay switch. Magnetron only activates while the microwave is cooking. Usually it's because grease/oil gets through vents and gets on the circuit board. Unless you know how to pull it apart and solder a new diode, best bet is just to turn it off at the wall when you're not using it for safety (to prevent it shorting out).

Isn't the 6dB rejection at the end just due to the two 600 ohm resistors forming a voltage divider at low frequency before the reactive components kick in?
