I needed jail, I got it in the federal prison and was there for 2 years, I have been clean for 5 years 7 Month's and 1 day today. I wish they offered the counselling and support for me in provincial jail, but here I am

Whenever I think I am depressed or having a bad day in sobriety I think of my two brothers and best friends of my entire life who are now dead to drugs and they didn’t get to have a life to have a bad day to cry about. They didn’t get to be married and watch their babies grow up due to fentanyl mixed in the supply

Struggling bad just now trying to quit a 33 year habit I'm getting their I'm just tired now want to live the rest of my life in peace and feeling normal it's hard hard hard man but hey been 8 months Barr a 4week period of taking again but I'm back on the wagon so hopefully I've broke it's back but again I'll always be in recovery

Suboxone saved my life maybe some day years from now I can try to stop it but until the war on drugs ends this is our only medication therapy option in america. Did cold Turkey sobriety for many years and always relapsed harder then last time and was miserable for years. On subs I can live a normal mostly ok life. Wish I never started any of it but to late for that after 15 years

@@celebratecrypto3693 here mate we get an injection over in Britain now it was originally brought out for alcohol addiction I've heard so so many good reports I can't remember the name but I'll find out you get it once a month once you get your dose sorted and it's meant to be a game changer the only thing is all your feelings start to creep in and things you haven't dealt with like deaths in family or just big things in general life comes back to haunt you but once you deal with that it'seant to be bliss no hunger for drugs wake up no funny tummy no cravings how good would that be I would go for it but can't as I'm epileptic and it interfears with that medication but you should try look this up ma man good luck bupamorphine I think it's called brother

I'd look for a therapist and possibly look in medication to help with depression if your dealing with addiction 12 step fellowship or find a recovery coach / specialist the first step is reaching out like you did here

My best friend of 25 years lost his mum over 10 years ago due to alcohol abuse. She was a great mum, never abusive, I looked at her as my second mum, but she just couldn’t stop the booze. A life cut short by a horrible substance that should be banned.
