Is it true the museum cut off a large length of the wing float struts to put coffee tables under this iconic and very rare plane ????
@gaz11h3 ай бұрын
I don't think they would do that the floats are quiet a way off the floor, imagine if the aircraft was in water and the hull was at the correct depth the floats would be at water level

2:15 imagine that the trebuchet *does* misfire, and that sling catches you around the leg. For some reason I think that has probably happened before in history, and I can't imagine them living, figuring their leg would either get ripped off or just rip them in half, or at best you'd be launched several hundred feet or more.

It had a German designer and had decent performance but was still left behind as other, higher-performance aircraft came along in the late '30s. The designer wouldn't accept the widening of the very-narrow cockpit area to facilitate access to the controls by the other crewmen should the pilot have been injured or killed.
