It's the same one Jocelyne posted but this should be the original cover (it isn't apparently cos of the cat number), this one and Piénsatelo are nice (honestly the whole album is good but I wished they sang with a pop voice).

@я.киша Basically they’re in some kinda play, and Ina (the singer)is upset cos she got a role she doesn’t like (in this case an old lady). And she thinks she’s talented enough for better roles and wants to be a star. Basically the same lyrics as all Star School songs theyre all about wanting to become stars and proving they’re underrated blah balh blah I think their goal was to try to launch the careers of the members of the group but i guess none of them succeeded, I personally love Nadine tho kzbin.info/www/bejne/aGHWYqNnq6hgn6ssi=DbbBW0OS0lTuMfaZ

Judging from the other comment, I believe this is from 1997; it has the melody of Samba De Janeiro, but you may be right about the 1996 part because the melody was interpolated from a song called “Tombo in 7/4” released 1972 (at about the 2:20 mark of the linked video you can hear the melody kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6bbdaJtopWFi8U&si=aJldPIAvVz-IRNS_ )

Hi! Someone named Marius (youtube.com/@marius7382?si=I9isWlTD-QwZqs7g) uploaded some mysterious songs by Aelita, from 1998. I could only find one of them (Ji atejo) being featured on a compilation (Geriausios Pūko dainos 7) but I haven't dug into the other ones yet

The “ex. Whitney Houston” part makes sense to me now since I learnt she sung a Whitney Houston cover on Romanian TV in 2001, I can guess that it was recorded in 1999 and released on her album two years later

I do not think there are other artists who did such a style before the release of Snaigių šokis, so it seems Silvija actually started the Airada pop style that from my thoughts seems to be more popular/common in the Suvalkija region
