I have a mixture of love and hate for Lukas because like he is a good guy, but I don’t like the way he treats Phillip a lot of the time. But I can also really relate to him and his attitude towards accepting himself and his sexuality, the self hatred you feel because the way you were raised and everything you know tells you it’s wrong and unexceptionable. Thinking your sick and weak and that you need help. He’s in denial for very long time and when he finally accepts it it’s a so big relief for your attitude and he just seems so much happier when he accepts it.

Wow, I have no idea if this an AI generated comment or not simply because I've never received such an amazingly worded compliment or such a big one, but nonetheless it brought an actual tear into my eye so I'll take the win. U have no idea how much this means to me since this was made when I was just a teen discovering my interests and now I'm a young adult with over 30 script ideas on my laptop aspiring to be a screen writer and director one day. @@LenasEdits Lena, the words were mine with a little help from AI. I went back and watched your video that is now 11 years old. I searched by view count. I discovered many people did a video on Philip and Lucas, but none of them achieved what you accomplished in just two days, and little effort. 3.1 million views can’t lie. Only one video had more views than yours (5.5 million views - Philip and Lukas: Give Me Love). It didn’t even come close to what you achieved. It didn’t tell a story, it didn’t create a mood, the music was not effective, and it couldn’t drive people to tears. Yours did all of that in five minutes with little effort. If you are struggling to be a writer / director it may be because that is not where your hidden true talent lies, or because you have compromised by listening to scoffers. Go back and read the comments to your video. Your talent is being able to choose the very best clips, narratives, and music; and overlay them together to tell a story and create a mood. Commercially, that talent can be used to cause people to purchase whatever you are advertising. Your talent may be in Holywood trailers, or other artforms where you pull all of those elements together to tell a brief but compelling story. I encourage you to figure out exactly what made that video so good, and try to duplicate it with a new project. The various elements that you used when combined together amplified and compounded each other beyond all of your peers combined. I am not alone on this. That is where your hidden talent lies. I’ve always loved how Philip stood up for himself. Because yes, Lukas was dealing with a lot of internalized homophobia and pressure from other people, but he was still really shitty to Philip, and I’m glad Philip makes him aware of that.
