I ran a piece of wire through the float and attached a swivel on top of it.

Great video on Night fishing of the beach!! well done. How far above the hooks was the float you put on, I ill certainly be modifying my rigs with this adition to avoid rays and shovel nose. What is the make and model of the reel? cheers
@letsgofishing324921 күн бұрын
I had the float closed to the ganged hooks about an inch or so. The reel is a Shimano Sedona 6000 I said a 4000 on the video but it's a 6000

what cast do you use to throw out with your centrepin?
@letsgofishing3249Ай бұрын
I usually use the loop cast if I need some distance. You strip some line of the reel and get it spinning while casting. It gets some use to doing it properly.

what was that sea weed stuff you called green gold, and what did you use it for
@letsgofishing3249Ай бұрын
You can catch certain species such as Luderick and Drummer on weed or cabbage. Sometimes it's hard to find hence the name green gold. Check out some of my videos to see what you can catch with it.👍

Great video mate. Thanks. How deep under your float do you fish and what do you use as a float stopper?
@letsgofishing32492 ай бұрын
Thanks, the depth varies to the location. In the areas I fish it's about 1.5 to 2m. The stoppers are rubber stoppers or you can use a stopper knot.

Good video, Ed, with some nice fish in the mix. Love the new rod (a good score as they are meant to be very versatile). Quick question. When you spin, do you connect your leader with a double uni knot ? The FG knot for me is too fiddly to be tying out on the rocks or a beach. Cheers, Frank
@letsgofishing32492 ай бұрын
Yes mate the FG knot is to complicated for me as well so I use the Albright Knot. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIDEgKGvn9ScY6s
