He was set up to fail but he begin being more invested in acting & Kerry Washington who drained him. Also, he wasnt allowed the freedom like he had in Oakland far as recognition skills being allowed to read tendencies & formations. Maybe outside couple of games he olayed against bug time WR like Calvin Johnson. His teammates were jealous of him & his contact too

@@GridironStuds Yeah, he was great CB from a coverage standpoint when he was focus & dedicated to art of being he CB. Despite being a short window still was elite level. Just wish he decided not to chase Hollyweird Kerry Washington.Overall great CB Raider Hall of Famer. Just not a Hall of Famer base off his drastic decline
@GridironStuds13 күн бұрын
@@michaelallen8112 I don't think Kerry was the problem. Many guys get disenchanted with football when they start realizing how many things are out of their control. This is especially so for the guys that can do other things with their life as Nmadi was able to do. It's a helluva thing to run full speed into people for a living only to have things change because of decisions made by people in suits that aren't paying the physical price (if you get what I mean). I think Kerry was a by-product of him facing that reality. I am guessing he was not foolish with his money so he was financially straight and decided to go the acting route which was a part of her world. Frankly, he should have stayed in Oakland where the defense suited his skill set but perhaps they weren't paying him his worth. He was a Top 2 corner in the league at the time. Him and Revis were 1 and 2.

Does the nil/transfer portal hurt college or help ? Would love to know your comment coach
@GridironStuds19 күн бұрын
There isn't a simple answer to that. It helps if you have a proper system running to onboard players from other programs. If you are trying to get a quick fix with no system in place, it can be a disaster, see Florida St.
@GridironStuds19 күн бұрын
For players, overall, I think it is hurting. There are the cases like Cam Ward where a guy who was under recruited in high school can keep leveling up or other situations where guys are getting a raw deal at a school or a new staff comes in that does not fit his skill set and they get a chance to move. However, overall, I am seeing more guys leaving because they don't want to deal with adversity. The guys that prosper get publicized but there are far more guys making mistakes and cheating themselves out of a scholarship or an opportunity to learn.
@GridironStuds19 күн бұрын
The NIL, is still a case study. I think it's great for guys to make money off of their likeness but that's not really how it's being used by most places. It is being used as an inducement for guys to sign with a school (who saw that coming?). Now kids with no college experience are getting boatloads before doing anything. It would be nice if the NCAA would do their job and provide some guardrails for both NIL and the portal instead of being pissy that both of those things now exist.

Its pretty easy to be a safety and to deliver a crushing hit. Its the receivers who are the true tough guys or warriors having to try catch the ball putting your entire body on the line.
