Love the indirect shade towards competitors marketing tactics around the selling of attorney approved paperwork.

He he he. Yeahhhhhhh. I even spoke to my own attorney about the fact that this is not a wise marketing move on their part ♥️

Thank you so much for this video. Would love to know your thoughts on how to prepare for private practice while in masters program.

This is a great question! Honestly, the most important part is NETWORKING! At this stage, I would suggest taking other therapists out to coffee and really taking time to build professional relationships! You will be thankful when you open a private practice, and you have many long-term relationships to draw upon for referrals. You got this! Such and exciting time1

Love your videos and your personality - I really appreciate all your wisdom! Especially appreciated your video for LPCCs and new graduates (gimme more!). I don’t personally love the vlog style for this type of info- I like you talking to the camera interview style with maybe a few helpful things that come on the screen. But that’s just me - and I support creativity if it feels good for you! Either way, I’ll still watch☺️

Good tips! As a current pre-licensed clinician, I also recommend that one works a FT 9-5 job even if it's unrelated to counseling. That way you can make money and not have to worry about living expenses while you accrue licensure hours. Most 9-5 jobs also don't require you to work late evenings or weekends too so that works out best for seeing clients at a private practice.
@ThePrivatePracticeProКүн бұрын
Yes absolutely! This is an awesome point and such an important part of early pre-licensure! I had a few jobs while doing my licensing hours and they helped me stay afloat financially during those tough years!
