I only had a deep purple chunky yarn...your instructions are perfect, but I couldn't see a single one of my stitches to count them 😓 I pretty much had to wing it, but I have a delightful wonky little guy as a first amigirumi ever! Will definitely be trying this again with a lighter color of yarn

Is there anyway to avoid the sl st gap? 🤔
@AnitaLouiseCrochet8 күн бұрын
@@candi8103 yes. If you are seeing a gap, you can try this: instead of the ch 3 at the start of each row, ch 2 at the beginning of the row then dc in the same space. This will replace the ch 3 and help fill in the gap.

This is my first plushie I’m trying but I keep getting lost. For me it’s difficult to follow along because I lose my stitches and they aren’t as easier to see when using fluffy bulky yarn. I don’t want to try a thinner yarn so do you have any tips on how to easily see the stitches? It all starts looking combined and jumbled to me once I get to doing the hdc
@AnitaLouiseCrochet24 күн бұрын
@@muffinwar1959 So you have a stitch marker? using a stitch marker helps a lot so that you can see the top of the first stitch of the round.
