i hate that ppl actually get mad that The Greatest Showman wasnt historicallu accurate. its not a documentary, people! its purely for entertainment, to show the actors talent, and make amazing songs! enjoy it! geez

Hmmm....... I'm sure that Barnum did really horrible things in real life. At least that's what I've heard

The people he exhibited were actually paid really well. He also treated them like family. He became an abolitionist and passionately fought to end slavery.

I think I learned from the movie is is to accept yourself who ever you are and don't be insecure and make fun of yourself bc what ever you are your you beautiful and don't make fun of people that have very rare diseases,I love the movie there's so many things you can learn and there's a great advice the songs made the movie much greater,I love the movie

The movie was great and it made me cry let aside the hardships im going through .. but as life is.. there is always the ugly truth and the pretty fantasy.. the movie was exactly that.. it shows how even a so called freak can be encouraged and love itself the way it is while the ugly hidden truth was it was broken and abused.. thats the reality even before and until now.. the difference is now. Those who were the different are now making the difference and showing people how important self love is.. Dont hate.. i cant handle.. sorry for bad english😅😅

PT Barnum was a great show man, and you are correct about the museum. The museum burned down before his scheduled July 15th 1865 show. A lot of his displays were exaggerated especially his Fiji Mermaid..now for some seriously real scary truth. You can research this, there is a poster advertising the event, and an actual PHOTOGRAPH of a REAL MERMAID, that PT Barnum was going to unveil. I find this fire very suspicious indeed. Someone went through a lot of trouble to hide this creature's existence. This mermaid creature was no fake. Please research, it will blow your mind. 🤔

Considering that in the early 1900s, two girls were able to fake a photo if "real fairies" that had some adults convinced of their existence, I find it incredibly hard to believe Barnum couldn't have faked a "mermaid" pic.

I did some research after watching the Greatest Showman, and I’m really glad I did. I hate that so many people I know see Jenny Lind as a villain.
