Hello dear, thanks for the video with the detailed explanations of the guitar. I would like to know if the bridge is fixed? I noticed that when I changed the strings I couldn't move it and I don't want to use too much force so as not to damage the top. I don't know if the previous owner glued it or if it comes glued? How does the Fender Ultra Luxe Strat compare to something like a Music Man Axis/Sabre/Cutlass? I play classic rock like Zeppelin/Aerosmith/Priest/Iron Maiden etc.

Satriani didnt invent the S series. That guitar is modeled after the Radius series. The S series is thinner than the Radius.

Ubderrated guitars. Mustang 90 is an incredible guitar. Simple, yet affective. I adore it.

Got one in Pillar Box Red. A lockdown purchase. I’ve gigged it a few times but really it’s not a stage grade instrument for the following reasons. The electrical buzzing and noise is excessive The body sculpting made it ungiggable. I hade to file it down at the point where my right arm naturally rested It was inconsistent gig to gig. Sometimes sparking and other times dead as ditchwater Most of all, the B string is weak and weedy. Engaging the vintage tone circuit made it a little better but it’s way behind the best in class like Mike Lull or G&L 😢

The original 480, had a bolt on neck,,this one looks like thru body neck like the 4001, bass, much better design, than a bolt on neck

It's not laminate ziricote. The back and sides are solid khaya (african mahogany) with ziricote fine veneer layered over it.

My guess is,since they are single coils yes they produce hum.But when switching the alter switch and turning them into humbucking mode they cancel the hum.

How would you compare the 224 to the 324?

The 324ce has a mahogany top and Urban Ash back and sides. While those three woods have similar tone characteristics, they're all going to sound different. Koa tend to be brighter and more pronounced than mahogany. If you're wanting that vintage tone, go with mahogany. But if you're wanting a well rounded multi-purpose guitar, I would recomend Koa. But In the end it's up to your ears!

These basses have single coils, so hum is normal. Also, the regular 4-string 4003 has its pickups wound identical to each other, so they don't cancel out hum when both are on like a Fender Jazz bass would. This 5-string Rick is probably wired the same as the 4-string version, so hum is to be expected in all 3 pickup modes.
