I full agree, there has never been a "trash" season, some seasons have simply just been worse than others which is naturally. Whilst some loved MEGA, I couldn't stand it and whilst some loved Wilds, I hated it.

I joined Fortnite in a season that's considered very weak which was wilds so i started in C4S3 and the reason why i decided to finally play Fortnite was because of the Jujutsu Kaisen Collab that was about to come out in the game. I liked wilds but my favorite season? Um.. not really my favorite is definitely Chapter 4 Season 4 that was the most fun i've had in a season compared to all of chapter 5 and season OG. The vaults, new mythics snd islands were great plus Fortnitemares was dope they released Michael Myers which blew my mind. Plus the batte pass had no bad skins imo Piper pace and Mae were my favorite

I first started playing when they introduced Zero Build C3 S2, and I loved that season. My favorite season would be Vibin' (C3 S3). To me, that was Fortnite perfected. But I often wonder if I somehow went back to Vibin' would it still feel the same? What if my love of that season is just nostalgia for when I first fell in love with game? I know I am in the minority when I say "I loved Rave Cave". I loved the bright sunny look, the fun graffiti décor. It's like everyone was celebrating, it was one big party. I have nothing but fond memories. But is it all nostalgia?

Ik this is probably a very controversial opinion but I really enjoyed ch4 s1 I think the bug’s honestly made the game more fun and unpredictable, ch4 s2 to me wasn’t a stand out and the jungle biome from ch4 s3 I really liked. I liked how diverse the levelling was like how you can be very low in the creek or very high on the trees, I also thought that the poi’s actually had lots of detail, especially if your remember the mini vaults spread throughout. and Ofc like everyone I loved ch4 s4.

7:48 Me. I am one of these people. Said I’d never play FN, made a deal with a friend to play FN if they played a different game with me. That was during Wrecked. Suddenly, I’m playing the new FN season more than that friend. 5 levels away from unlocking the last of the Superstyles. Kinda worried I’m gonna end up burning myself out soon, but that’s a problem for later me.

I'm an OG who has been watching since day 1 and been playing since late Ch1 Season 5 and what attracted me to the game was all my friends were playing is and now that most of them are gone I still enjoy the game as I don't truly hate any season I just know this season isn't for me, even though I clown on it. I think season 9 and Ch5 season 2 are the weakest seasons for me but I can see someone liking the futuristic vibe and the god powers (I don't like season 2 because they didn't expand on the powers and there weren't many updates) but I thought Primal wasn't bad and actually had some decent fun in it and I though season X is very fun for what is had and wrecked is overhated and while it's not my favorite it still was really fun. I think anyone can enjoy a fortnite season but they can't say they like a hated season because they will get hated for liking that season so they pretend to hate it as-well and it's sad that there might be some people who love primal but they think they are forced to hate it.

Honestly, I like having mid / mediocre seasons because fortnite can see it and adapt to make the game better, having bad seasons help fortnite to see what is good for the game and what isn’t good for the game.

What made me originally wanna play it was kinda weird I just felt like I played fortnite before and I saw the 2017 halloween update and I just downloaded the game and never stopped. I don't think I can ever get bored of any video game that's not an open world type game. Fun gameplay loop I'll stick around and jump back in from time to time. Also battle royales as a whole are just fun we've had some over the years like spellbreak and NARAKA bladepoint that tried something different. Also I like playing till I completed a battle pass and then I'll play a bit less overal. This is usually like the last 3 weeks of a season where I just play some other games or work on my backlog of em.

Chapter 5 Season 1, Chapter 5 season 2, Chapter 5 season 3, Chapter 5 season 4. I have played every chapter in the game and genualy tried finding a season that i really hated. Season X was gonna be on there but i dont remember the mechs being that bad but it was really bad . I can give reasons as to why these seasons sucked as a guy that has played ALL gamemodes competitively and casualy.

i agree i don’t think there has been a single season what is so bad it’s unplayable. even last season funnily enough i had more fun before the nerfs then when the cars were useless pretty much. yes i’ve disliked a season such as this season and last season and ch4s2 but they weren’t so bad i didn’t play. i played quite a bit throughout past seasons and this one.

Every season kinda has something that makes it so they aren't bad. (I started in chapter 2 Season 2) Chapter 2 Season 6 - While I love this season, others don't, the meta was shook up and its updates where at its best. Also the battle pass is underrated af. Chapter 2 Season 8 - Hot take, I think the Fortnitenares was the best, I wish the Tarrot Cards came back. Chapter 3 Season 3 - Battle Pass is underrated and the Dragon Ball Collab. Chapter 3 Season 4 - I liked the meta excluding the Cobra DMR and Goo Gun. Chapter 4 Season 3 - Mammoth Pistol Chapter 5 Season 2 - The theme Chapter 5 Season 3 - The Theme again

I can definitely agree, I ended up starting in Chapter 2 Season 1, and I thought it was really fun and I genuinely really liked the season, despite the popular opinion being that it was a weaker season due to it’s superb length and somewhat simplistic gameplay. But to me that didn’t matter, I thought it was pretty good nonetheless.

I see that whenever people talk about a season being bad that now they also add in things that don’t have to do with the season but the chapter as a whole and then when there is a good season, those aren’t taken into mind

I joined at the start of chapter 5 for Lego Fortnite but chapter5 season 1 feels like peak Fortnite to me nut my fr8nd who joined in chapter 3 season 2 thinks that chapter 3 to chapter 4 season 1 is peak Fortnite

For me, I played a lot of Chapter 4 with my parents. Yet I have no memories of that map, weapons, or gameplay loop. Truly, CH4 was shock from skipping CH2 season 6-CH3, and I needed OG to remind me what I liked about the game. This season is alright, I feel like it could be really good if CH5 base wasn’t kinda weak.

I would actually want to try the "worst seasons" from back in the day again to see if they held up (not recent ones tho)

I understand where youre coming from, especially since you started with a season like ch2s6, but honrstly theres nowhere but up with seasons like that, so i can see where you would think that you see every season as "good", but i disagree with you because i started earlier and on a much better season imo.

As someone whos played since season 1 and given every season a chance the following seasons: C1S8 C1S9 C1SX C2S5 (Primal) C2S8 (Cubed) C3S3 (Vibin) C5S1 (Underground) C5S3 (Wrecked) C5S4 (Doomed) Have all been mediocre / low points in my time of playing and some of which have lead to me actually quitting for the entire season. I will be clear in stating that I play the game on a more competitive side of things placing unreal and often placing in division 9 and 10 back when ranked was a thing so that can change my vision. With the newer seasons like wrecked it just doesnt feel fun dying to someone mindlessly clicking nitro fists or dealing with constant unbalanced items and bad loot pools To say there is no bad season is incredibly unrealistic especially during seasons like C1SX with poorly balanced and buggy features like the mechs making the community come together and collectively share their unanimous dislike for the feature. I think its really telling when the entire community can band together like that and share their thoughts on a feature the state of a season. Obviously on epics end nothing has been a bad season as the numbers are always a success as unlike me people will still play through seasons that are objectively bad and some may even enjoy the season. But at the end of the day the idea that a season is bad is always subjective and is down to the players opinion about their experiences with the given season.

I barely remember what attracted me to the game back then. I remember when I was like 11 in end of 2017 during Chapter 1 Season 2 scrolling through the Family Xbox One store and saw a Free shooter game and the Christmas Thumbnail on the Game I installed the game and play. My little brain understood none of it I got to play with the Present Supply Drops and the Christmas light bushes and the cartoony graphics also attracted me to the game. I wish I could remember more of that time.

Before the video starts i feel like there are times in the game where i did feel like playing just due to it feeling like a hassle for ME to play, however i believe that this game isn't a problem ever for many players especially if they just get on and play without keeping up with Fortnite news.

i fully started fortnite in primal but i did play the first week of chapter 2 season 5. i started fortnite because of fall guys i bought a console to play fall guys and i decided to play fortnite more than fall guys because it felt more fun than fall guys. I had more fun in fortnite than fall guys. Now i haven’t played fall guys for more than 6 months
