Gen 4:7 is pastor's personal interpretation, actually it is the absence of real worship why Cain's offering was rejected. It is not about the correct way of worshipping, that is uniformizing according to UPCI standards and contradicts the preaching of Cody Frederic in the 'On the way to Mattanah'. sermon. 10.17: I don't think He looks down and says 'You have not learned how to really worship yet' versus 'you got to worship the Lord correctly' according to pastor's interpretation in a previous sermon (biography of a worshipper 18.40). One needs real right renewal not natural application.

Ty for this... i was deliverd from cigerettes almost 30 yrs ago and was constantly walking in the Spirit, praying and reading my bible daily and loved the Lord for about a year or so. Until one day I let something get to me and for some reason I went and smoked a cigerette and felt condemned and beat myself up so much, I fell back into the world and my old life (even though I knew the scriptures) that Im still trying to pick myself up.

I was told about brother Mark on youtube. It’s been a blessing to hear him. The last 8 years of my life have been a Job challenge. Told I had 90 days to live and with Gods help I received a liver transplant. I died a few days later and was in Heaven and I got to hug Jesus. I will never be the same.

If you would do a similar search on Blue Letter Bible and type in “ Jesus is God” you might learn the results will come back ZERO as well.I am not a Trinitarian in case someone wonders if I am coming to the defense of such nonsense nor am I a JW either.Just like yourself I believe in the Apostles message for salvation in the Book of Acts as well as what they taught regarding Jesus Christ.We both know Peter was given the keys and he used them on Pentecost when he preached to the crowd but how many noticed not one time did Peter or any apostle in Acts preached that Jesus was God? I find it interesting that in Matthew 16 Jesus did not offer correction when Peter confessed Jesus was Christ and not God manifested in flesh.We esteem Acts so highly but only notice the salvation part,I think it would surprise you to take note of how they taught a different Jesus than most modern day churches.

@@EthanChampagne-mo1lg this is not mocking, if you walk in the spirit and are used to utter glossolalia in the congregation then you or someone else must be able to interpret, if not then refrain from glossolalia in the congregation and only use it privately for self-edification. Languages and words are limited so without proper interpretation one will remain with obvious meanings and if you cannot explain the meaning then people are just trying to impress spiritually and reduce it to a religious act and tradition without any real significance, if you cannot distinguish the differences here then you are not walking in the spirit, but don't worry because almost 8 billion people are animists who walk in the flesh.

Yes I do remember when I was little. I was baptized as a baby in the Lutheran church and my faith in God was balanced and peaceful. Very simple. Thank God I wasn't born into a UPCI church.
