Very good film of construction, but simply awful music!

Imagine working as a logger or sawmill operator during this era. The changes to come in only a few decades in the lumber industry was huge too. 30 years later airplanes were no longer wood airframes and air speeds were more than double what they were for WWI The speed of technology advancement was seemingly faster than anything else.

The USA industrial might is amazing,Only been in the war about 1 year and have built a huge plant with machinery and employing probably thousands and turning out warplanes like a sausage machine.

When I first became a pastor in the 1980s, there was an elderly woman in the congregation who had worked in the Bristol factory in England during World War 1. She had photographs of herself stitching fabric onto what I took to be a Bristol Fighter.

Unlike some of other commenters, I absolutely *LOVE* the soundtrack. I'd like to use it on a couple other videos I'm putting together. Any chance you can point me to to the originator?

Very interesting film. But a couple of notes. The worded captions need to be a lot longer so you can actually read them. The music choice is absolutely awful. I had it on mute throughout the whole video. A shame because it spoils what is otherwise a fantastic video

Factory workers wore better clothes back in 1918. They look like white collar workers today. Interesting video, but horrible music.

Quite possibly the most poorly selected backing music ever. But...the visuals, of an era of hard working brilliance, make up for it. Mute ON...

Interesting to see that the roundels on the wings were applied as peel off stickers rather than painted. As today's stickers are made of flexible plastic, I wonder what material was used in those 1918 vintage ones.

May I suggest different music than the out-of-time selection here? Early New Orleans jazz.......Modern Jazz Quartet......Jelly Roll Morton...any gently lilting jazz from the 1930's....any other suggestions?

My father had health problems so he was 4F and built airplane engines the entire war. 1942-45. That's why I'm a 1943 model.

Fascinating however rather than the ethereal music better served in some jungle movie? I literally took off my ear phones because it was distracting from what was going with the film, probably better served to put a few words about the actual process like what type of spruce or what was the type of knot they were using to tie the linen to the wing frame? Some research into what you were showing would show some actual interest into this very fascinating topic and also important topic!
