Since Sandals Emerald Bay is closed now to become Beaches, maybe they can just refund your the deposit entirely. I have heard that Jamacia airport is maddening. Ugh, I think I won’t book anything at Jamacia. We are booked for Bahamian in February though, will see how it goes, first experience with Sandals and any All-inclusive. Really enjoyed your Vlog series, and I hope you don't take offense to my comment. My GF and I really enjoyed your footage and insight. First, you spent 4 videos seemingly having a great time and praising the resort but in the last one said you wouldn't return. Weird. So as someone whos been to Sandals Negril 4 times (and currently booked for a 5th) I can pretty much see what happened. And again this is my humble worthless opinion only. First off, going to any Caribbean resort during Xmas/NYE is a strange time slot. Its the equivalent of going to a bowling alley on Thanksgiving day, yes they will be open but do you really want to be there during that time? The theme is odd, the entertainment is odd, its not what they specialize in. This is considered "off time" for resorts as they don't expect most people to be spending the holiday season at a resort. This is also prob why the resort looked basically like a ghost town when you were there. My GF and I kept commenting during your videos how vacant and deserted it looked. Also the amount of time you were there, most likely, played a huge factor. "Commercial resorts" like Sandals simply aren't set up to keep people entertained for 14 nights. You run out of things to do, you run out of places to eat. The menus become repetitive, the entertainment becomes boring and by about the 8th or 9th night you are just straight up bored. This is why the avg sandals stay is between 5 and 7 nights. By the 13th night id also be bored out of my mind as well and having price tag regret. By night 8 or 9 you start thinking about just how much 2 weeks at this resort cost you and how your eating the same food again, and doing the same activities again, the amount you spent starts to sink in and regret follows soon after. This is why staying at ANY all-inclusive isn't recommended for more than 7-9 days. Also Joe Cool transport, yeah well whenever you book a 3rd party that isn't affiliated with the resort you are going to run the risk of things going horribly wrong. That being said, loved the videos, you did great for your first Vlog and we enjoyed watching. 🙂

I really enjoyed your full review. I do have a question on your room that looks like the sundowners swim out suite. I understand they're either remodeling the interior rooms this year. Not sure if they're tearing down the building. Hopefully the building stays the same. Not sure if you heard anything while you were out there. We will be booking that room for late 2025. Thank you.
