You might have alot of dust inside your xbox that's blocking or covering your vent holes, keeping it from disbursing the heat which keeps it from cooling down. The G-Story should at least get the temp down closer to like 103 with the dust inside. If your xbox is dust free, then it should get it down to around 75. Depending on was speed the G-Story's fan is on

you dont need that. yes its supposed to be hot air out from the top. that is how Coolers works. by removing the heat from the chip and transferring it into the air.

Nice setup some tips though is getting a nvme instead of an hard drive it’s safest to hire someone to do it plus the fan most likely won’t do anything to keep it cool if your having overheating issues then your Xbox probably needs a cleaning which you can hire someone to do for you

Oh ok, thanks for the info, honestly I put the G-Story on because I'm going to apply a skin to my xbox and I put a skin on my switch and it got so hot the games would start stalling, so I bought a fan for the switch and so far so good.

@@JulianJohnston919 yeah unless your skin covers any of the intake/exhaust vents on the console it shouldn’t cause any issues still even though it doesn’t do much to cool might be worth keeping the g story on just because it looks awesome because that thing looks really cool

Dude you're high. The Xbox Series X ONLY comes with a SSD. The Series X literally doesn't have a hard drive in it. And hiring someone to put a NVME in it is crazy. It's easy, watch a youtube video.
