Hi another unbiased and informative review 👍. I’m a fan of granular / time manipulated synthesis and Scaper is a really welcome release. Over the next couple of weeks I’m going to experiment with using Autotune to try and fit Scaper output more closely to the key of a couple of songs . If this works out I will post a video and hopefully share the content with other Scaper users. 🙏🙏🏿👍

22 minutes of hats? 😅 I don’t think the plugin does anything special; it’s pretty simple to create variations in a piano roll, and its design is extremely unintuitive. You can’t even change the kits with the menu, nor did you try to. Not worth it for $1.

My imagination is for Akai to issue many LEGACY Plugins from the MPC 60-----5000 , 1.0/2.0/ even to the 3.0 ,all should be Plugins since everything is going in that direction

Its a CRYING 😢 SHAME.....AKAI doesn't improve on the iMPC Pro 2 ,it should have STEMS and also have the full integration within the MPC 2.15/3.0 software and be able to route between the two softwares.Maybe if Akai does it will be iMPC 3 to compliment the ecosystem of this this great overhaul. The part you were stuck on , you just need to go from chop back to trim. The audio tracks give you a metronome to play in.

Tried the midi out to DAW VST and back in to sampler the other night works great. Wouldn’t let me use pad perform chords thought only got single root notes recorded in sampler.
