@@grstew4 it seems a vast majority of older “luxury” cars , sedans and sport cars mainly euro cars have depreciated wildly since they first came out. Then you got Japanese cars who’ve done the exact opposite and are out of reach for a lot of people

@@grstew4 probably have to do with the huge mechanical failures of the motors in a lot of those euro cars tho so it makes sense , very unreliable cars if you don’t take care of them and people love to skip maintenance

Those are some of the best driving, most reliable GM products there are. EVERY engine they installed in those were durable. The funniest part is that at one time or the other, those B-bodies could have had engines from every division except Cadillac. Buick V6, Buick V8, Pontiac V8, Chevy V8, Oldsmobile V8..gas AND diesel. That led to a lawsuit because a customer bought either a Buick or an Oldsmobile and discovered it had a Chevy engine installed instead of one from the related division. That's why they were forced to add a blurb on later window stickers that read "this vehicle may be equipped with engines produced by various GM divisions".

I had a 78 Buick Lesabre 2 door back in the mid 90's when I came back from my overseas tour of Germany, My step-dad "Sold" it to me for $100, but in reality he just gave it to me and just told mom he sold it to me, so I could get around and drive the 5 hours to come home for the weekend when I could. It was a great highway car, had a 307 and speed auto trans. Mine was 2 tone Brown though.

@@NenadTrajkovic I think the 71-73 LeSabre and the 77 Buick Elantra were the police cars , I know mine has 135hp crank and 0-60 like 13-15 seconds lol so pretty slow and the Elantra’s had the 5.7 in them so with work a lot faster than the LeSabre

Damn that's nice. GM really had it together on the '77 redesign. You may have already tried this, but if you fiddle around twisting the headlight switch, you might find a spot where your instrument lights don't cut in and out. Thanks for sharing.
