So Boardley was disqualified but then was not disqualified; I was frustrated after Saturday's race, now I am just confused. Did anyone work out what caused Will Powell's monster crash, stream missed it...

The clerk DQ'ed him but on appeal the stewards decided that dq was too harsh for a first corner incident and gave him a ten place grid drop for the next race instead.

@@adematthewsracing thank you for expanding on the circumstances, that does make more sense, it did feel that disqualification was harsh at the time, a grid drop or pit lane start was far more equivalent punishment if Boardley was deemed at fault. In fairness Shepherd's luck pretty much checked out this weekend either way ☹

Disqualification for Boardley seems really harsh though, surely a pit lane start for Sunday's race would have been more proportional; this just devalues the entire series 🏁

I was there today. Covering the social media filming side for TCR UK. What a day it was. Hope all is well with the guy who took ill during the event, get well soon. Brilliant racing and a tone of dramatic and exhilarating action. Brilliant work by everyone at alpha live and fabulous commentary work by Andy McEwan, Paul O’Neil and Scott Woodwiss.

Disappointed with only 11 cars in only one TCR race and where were all the crowds of spectators for this supposed popular series. Boring racing especially with only one TCR race featured. BTCC is a much better series with much closer racing action.

When I compare a present day grid, to one from when I first started going to circuits, back in the 60s, I cannot get enthusiastic about modern day racing. They are ALL so boring. Jelly moulds, designed and made by computers, not living, breathing, heart-beating HUMANS. It is IMPOSSIBLE to tell one make from another. The only brand that stands out, visually, is BMW. And that because no one, yet, has risked copying the pattern. Just look at how close the Suzuki brand is to that of SEAT, the KIA grill to that of Škoda. Lexus to Mercedes. Deliberate attempts to kid the gullible that they make cars that are as good as European, when I know they are not.

C’est quand même mieux qu’en France les courses en Angleterre sur circuit y’a rien à voir c’est bien dommage qu’il y ait pas ça en France ils sont des champions pour ça les Anglais

This is an excellent coverage... but, really Knockhill... grid girls in skimpy outfits... in 2023? Even ignoring the 1960's vibe... if you look at how the guys are rugged up... skimpy outfits... in Scotland????

OMG MG Metro's look like a lot of fun to race, I owned a GTA for a summer for fun and that thing felt like a Go Kart.
