I think the resson i never warmed to the buck 110 is the cheap knock offs were so common when i was a kid in the 70s that when i see a genuine 110 it reminds me of those cheap crappy knives

I do not agree that it is a fake Buck. It will be if it is marked like the Buck 110 to mislead the purchaser to believe he is buying a Buck 110. This is a knife, probably from Pakistan, made on the same pattern as the Buck 110. Definately a cheaper and lower quality.

Great collection, but you could use some of their shaped gold watches. I love the Thinomatics, but also have a nice square 14k gold Hamilton Dennis, and a nice Hamilton Donald, with a shaped movement. Vintage gold Hamilton's (and Bulova's) are such a great value.

I am a Bulova Accutron graduate 1970 and have been repairing Accutrons since then for both the trade (jewelry stores) as well as private customers. A few pointers I might suggest. NEVER, EVER use Alkaline batteries in any watch. They can leak and destroy the movement. The other point that so many others do is when loosening the screws, it only should be loosened 1/4-1/2 turn, just loose enough to turn the cell strap out of the way. Once it is out of the way, just turn the watch over and the battery will fall out.

I like this coin but it scratches way too easily being an almost proof coin. The Philharmonic is the better choice, my opinion anyway.

I was lucky enough to find a Bulova accutron 1973 10KT rolled gold watch over the summer at a yard sale for 1 dollar! I'm still excited about this find. I believe it's a limited edition version as well. They used to give these out to employees for retirement or promotions back in the day. The accutron has a rich history and very interesting

Blade steel sucks won’t hold an edge, I still have the one I got in the early 80’s sharpen use it once or twice re-sharpen.
