Krishnamurti is a well speaking but mindless loony. Incredibly annoying. He uses words in such vague, ambiguous, indefinable terms to sound like he has EVERYTHING worked out, but all he does is contradict everything that everyone else says with unprovable claims. He is complete smoke and mirrors through words.

As a listener to JK for years and years, I can only talk about my own personal experiences. When I was younger, his words helped me take the edge of my ambition. But my youth and energy couldn’t kill the ambition in its entirety. His teaching helped take some rough edges out of my daily life. There has been light, however dim it might be. When I became older, the ambition waned. This led to a much deeper understanding of the self. Now, I sense that inner silence much more than I ever did before - I also understand that sounds are all part of silence and silence is not separate from sounds. I am able to seamlessly connect to the ‘ringing sound of the locusts’, if I may say so, anytime my awareness peaks. Lot of peaceful moments and no real urge to compete. I am able to connect deeply to life around me and see the meaninglessness of most things around us and in the things I say and do, bringing an instant end to such things. But if the ultimate thing is to touch that sacred part of life that’s out there that he often refers to, I haven’t just been there yet and perhaps will never be. Is it because I am still caught in my ego OR is that a blessing given to only a few chosen humans like Krishnaji? He would categorically assert that it’s the former - and so my search into myself continues. Is the light there? It’ll be interesting to understand other personal journeys or perspectives. Please share.

I never had the urge to write a comment but I need to write it. K is a philosopher in the real sense because his reflection and perception of the human condition are so precise and pure. We humans worship various fixed ways of thinking and they pollute the mind. To live an authentic and holistic life we must refuse effort and go beyond thought. Then you enter the state of unity and only then you start living. We all try communicating that state but it is beyond words and concepts.

He doesn't seem to be saying anything. It sounds like he was a contrarian. That's fine but at some point people want to hear something they can understand even if it's ephemeral. But when someone tries to explain something by not explaining anything, how can there be consensus on their meaning? We relate to each other through shared experiences, but don't hear him sharing his experiences. It sounds like noise to me. I mean no disrespect to the man. I'm sure he did great things.

I’ve been on a deeper search, again, for a system, a belief, a method that will bring about certainty and freedom. Whenever I begin walking down a path in my search, I find flaws, inconsistencies, structures built on weak or non-existing foundations that to continue I’d have to suspend my reasoning. I’ve tried to understand K’s thoughts before but was unable to do so as well as I think I understand thru this interview. Perhaps it’s to do with my current search that’s with more life experience and exposure. Here’s key words to myself I’ve modified to emphasize the meaning of his message. IN-telligence, IN-sight, IN-quiry, FREE-dom, CONDITION-ing I’d welcome any comments to better understand his message.

K is trying to convey something that is beyond thoughts and concepts because they are born from memory and experience and therefore are limited and dead. Pure perception is never limited and always in a state of change and therefore alive. Every man has the capacity to be in that state but he must find it alone that is what K means to be a light to oneself.
@ajmnv14 күн бұрын
@@thebiremaster thank you for your response and insight. “…beyond thoughts and concepts…” ok. But one’s perception I think is inevitably tied to one’s thoughts and concepts. Can one separate perception from one’s memory and experience? How can one achieve or reach “pure” perception? Is it possible to discern “pure” from “impure”?
@thebiremaster13 күн бұрын
@@ajmnv Of course it is possible. Let me give you an example, if you have an apple in front of you in that moment when you are looking at it then pure perception takes place. After that moment though creeps in and you create an image of the apple either in the form of a word or in the form of a picture condition by memory and previous experience, but the word and the picture is not the real thing. The real thing is in front of you.
@thebiremaster13 күн бұрын
@@ajmnv To reach that state one must be silent without effort because effort is still part of thought there is one who wants to reach silence and that pursuit of silence is the very thing that doesn't let one be silent. The perception of that vicious circle is the very thing that brings silence about instantly.

The writers of our sacred books were illumined mystics, past masters in the art of psychology. In telling the story of the soul, they personified this impersonal principle in the form of a historical document both to preserve it and to hide it from the eyes of the uninitiated. Today, those to whom this great treasure has been entrusted, namely, the priesthoods of the world, have forgotten that the Bibles are psychological dramas representing the consciousness of man; in their blind forgetfulness, they now teach their followers to worship its characters as men and women who actually lived in time and space. When man sees the Bible as a great psychological drama, with all of its characters and actors as the personified qualities and attributes of his own consciousness, then - and then only - will the Bible reveal to him the light of its symbology.

Western philosophers thought if we solve problems in our surroundings we can attain the ideal life and ideal society So they have living in a logical and problem solving attitude and started inventing technologies and machines to make life easy So that we live happy But eastern philosophy is the problem raising from inner instability of people, People who cant have hold on their desires and wanting will anyway find a way to exploit everything for their pleasures Thats why eastern philosophy is more inverted, realisation of roots of problems and prevent it at there itself
