That was gorgeous Sara, absolutely gorgeous. It’s one of my favorite modern day songs, and you knocked it out of the park. (That’s a baseball expression if you’re not familiar, meaning you hit a home run.) Do you know the Russian pianist whose stage name is Gamazda? She graduated from the Tchaikovsky institute in Moscow with honors, but doesn’t like classical music as much as heavy rock and metal, so that’s what she performs. She converts the songs to piano and she’s excellent. Anyway, she performs this one, and it’s my favorite song she performs, and the entire video is an absolute masterpiece. The scene, the lighting, everything. You might enjoy it too. None of that however, takes a bit away from the fact that you have done a brilliant job as well! 👏👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹🌹

This was very nice on the ear. I would love to hear more these golden voices. I think 'Martha My Dear' would sound very pretty as it also has some counterpoint with very elegant voicings that could be moved and arranged in some interesting ways. Pls do some more as The Beatles wrote just so many wonderful instantly recognisable melodies that so many people know well.

With your light head voice and strong chest voice/belt and contralto notes, I'd love to hear you sing some barbershop arrangements. The high harnonies would probably sound amazing.

I was in choir for years as an A2, I can back up everything you said. I can't tell you how many times I sang, like 3 notes for an entire page. Remember when the song "Colors of the Wind" came out though? The first Disney ALTO!! Or was she? Either way, Judy Kuhn did such a great job, it revived my alto soul I think. 🙃

That was great Sara. I love Neil Diamond , and that's one of my favorite songs by him. Considering that you don't really know the song really well ,(reading the lyrics was the giveaway😊) your singing skills were as usual, awesome! He did a song that I bet you would have a lot of fun performing called 'Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show'. It's one of those songs that you can get the whole audience involved in. I'm afraid to put a link here because they sometimes take down comments with links in them, but you can look it up. It's from the same era, if not the same album as this one.
