That whenever we humans set out on interstellar voyages to colonize the galaxy on generation ships, we'd probably want to do so as massive fleets of generation ships. And we need to ensure that we don't lose our technology on the way, because once we do, even a very large colony fleet won't have enough manpower to rediscover a lot of that technology. And although Issac Arthur doesn't mention it, this is an important security aspect: it isn't enough if a few colony ships out of a few hundred survive an attack by xenos. Even that loss could result in losing knowledge and thus cause mission failure. Even Warhammer 40K has the Adeptus Mechanicus literally praying to he machine god to get their equipment to work. All because Mankind is way past its zenith and a lot of the stuff Imperium of Man has is not technology that even the Adeptus Mechanicus understands the working of. So could very well be that in a post-apocalyptic setting, we got laser shields with no way of knowing how they work, but you can still make use of them.

Now I know to look up the original one before the newest one & that the title card at the end of a trailer isnt a title card, its just showing the title of the movie and there may be more after it. @@Mezrec Yes, it's a godly battle, fought during the 8th Avatar of lord Vishnu, Krishna's period in this world. There are 10 avatars of the god, who come to the world in each of the 4 yugas ( each yuga is a period from a creation to its destruction ) to defeat the absolute evil . And this movie is based on the arrival of the prophesized 10th avatar of the god, Kalki, in the future, during the end of this ongoing yuga, Kali. Hence it's a mixture of sci fci as it's set in distance future plus the prophecy of spirituality (hence supernatural and sci fi, like marvel u can say). Plus most of the elements, u say in movies, like from Matrix, Dr Strange, Zenyatta, etc are directly taken from Hindu and Buddhist religion spirituality and philospohies.
