Well said about the surrogacy issue. This is a growing concern. You name this issue. And there are many gay men who would agree with your points.
@laurendevaneyquigley28124 күн бұрын
As regards the surrogacy - it definitely raises ethical questions and I would feel the same reading that book. It's incredibly complex and deserves much thought and discussion - not to say its wrong - but as you say Carol shouldn't just be an incubator in the corner. I'm looking forward to more book reviews and seeing your videos is a great source of joy ❤

I agree, she didn't speak once in the book and I found it so odd that it was accepted that she's carrying their baby but not included in the baby group for expectant mothers. She's still pregnant and going to give birth whether she raises the baby or not she still biologically has to go through the same as the other women in the book but she was excluded. Thanks for watching my videos, plenty more book reviews to come x

I wondered about this book, but I typically avoid mass market/media popular books. Glad I skipped it lol. It looks so cute, it makes you think that it'll be all cozy Fall scenes and such. What a bummer.

I have just finished this. I was position 30 in the queue when I ordered it at the library. Saw your review but was too stubborn to unreserve it 😂 Oh man! What a dull read. There was nothing going on at all. I wish there was more investigation in to was trying to sabotage her cafe to make it have some sort of plot. Or maybe Lucy could have come back to mess Logan up a bit? And man how many times did the main characters 'blush'. Easy read but blah
@hannahtaybooks4 күн бұрын
I would have loved Lucy to return and mess their odd little romance up lol for the drama to have anything other than another sex scene!

I've read all 14 of Baum's Oz books, a couple of times. The first time I read the first book I was 13 or 14 and I immediately started reading the other books in the series. At that time I only read the first 6 books or so. I got stuck on the 7th one. I tater was able to read all 14. I maybe wouldn't read all of the books. The second and third books, The Marvelous Land of Oz and Ozma of Oz, are the best after the first (I might actually like the second more than the first, I really like the protagonist of that book). The sixth book, Emerald City of Oz, is really good too, as is the 13th book, The Lost Princess of Oz. Rinkatink in Oz is my least favorite of the series. It has nothing to do with Oz until the very end. I'm pretty sure he had written it as a non Oz book, but then decided to make it an Oz book at the end so it would sell better as his non-Oz books didn't sell as well.
@hannahtaybooks20 күн бұрын
Thank you, I will take your advice on the ones you liked and give them a read as I probably wont want to read all 14.

Oh go on, have a ranty review of it, I 💜your full on energetic thoughts and passion about things, its good to hear. Loved your Halloween decs and lights and your cosy reading space. You are right don't usually see so many horses together, unless its a sanctuary type place, I need to get out into nature, have been fighting a virus and cant shake it, trouble is not got much energy to do so. The Pumpkin Spice Cafe has been plastered all over booktok for a good while. I'm usually not interested and I've never watched Gilmore Girls but I recently caved and bought the series. I found the first one to be ok but I absolutely loved The Cinnamon Bun Bookstore - all about Hazel finding clues left by someone in the books at her work. I couldn't believe the difference in the two books, if I hadn't have went straight onto the second one, I probably never would've done after TPSC.

Hi Hannah, I’ve just subscribed and am bingeing your videos - you’re so funny 😆 I think I’ve tried all the Iceland SW meals and tbh the only one I really like is the chicken tikka masala. The Asian salmon is absolutely delicious, almost restaurant quality but it’s £6 so I don’t buy it all the time. There are 2 fillets in there so I could have one cold with salad the next day, but I always eat both! I quite like the meatballs too but I find most of the range very lacklustre. Anyway, I’m excited to see how you get on - best of luck x

I'm not a woman and I'll never go through such a labour - but what I can hear from you during this video is that you've been through a deeply traumatic experiences, with a beautiful outcome, but traumatic never the less and your body and mind is reminded and living the memory of it - I wish you strength, hope and the comfort of others who have travelled that path x

I'm 9 years post c section and I am still numb on my scar line. Be kind to yourself. In time the anxieties will go or at least get easier. Talking through it with friends or random strangers at baby groups help. Just know that it's totally normal to have these feelings even after a year xx
