Jesus Christ is the best example of servant leadership ‼️ The King of kings came from heaven and He did the most lowest form of serving in that culture and time; He washed the disciple's feet ( the area was dusty and feet got dirty). He knew that Judas would betray Him but Jesus washed his feet ‼️ ⭐️John 13:1-8 Jesus Washes His Disciples’ Feet 13 It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end. 2 The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus. 3 Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; 4 so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. 5 After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him. 6 He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?” 7 Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” 8 “No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.”

In the process of starting a coffee business and I was trying to get grants and getting nowhere. I paused and asked the Lord to show me in His Word what He wanted me to do. Well I didn't even open the Bible, the word that came to mind is ⭐️Isaiah 40:31 "But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint." This scripture has a lot of meaning to me. At this point I walk with a cane and I lay in bed asking the Lord how am I going to run a coffee music venue if I don't walk right. The Lord is FAITHFUL to tell me, wait and focus on Me

it's never natural to take a risk but it's worth it every time whether it's a success or a lesson in a failure
What a wonderful lesson to learn! I love the last story. That is just like God. “I know what you did, but that’s not who you are”.

I'm dealing with a leg injury and I had a mindset to survive. I was using a rollaltor and I was at physical therapy and the young lady would take the rollator and move it where I couldn't reach it and I wasn't happy. She then had me to exercises....One day I heard the Lord say " YOU HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR MINDSET ‼️" and then what came to mind was the young lady at physical therapy.....she was teaching me how to walk without the rollator ( instead of a survival mindset, I needed an OVERCOMER mindset) ‼️

So many of us live in a microwave instead of a crock pot. We want instant access to success rather than being patient and growing over time. I see it in myself and in my daughter. She wants the rewards and benefits of hard work now. I am going to share what I learn with her. Hopefully, she can be spared from the mistakes I made in my youth. Great teaching.
