Thanks for your candid conversation about grief, Amanda ! I love the way you said that it is okay to tell God we are disappointed with him! I grew up believing that is was wrong to express emotions, worse yet, to tell God how I feel, and more so tell him how I feel about him, especially painful emotions. My recent journey has focused on being honest with myself, about how I feel, and expressing my feelings to God and others candidly. Thanks, Amanda for being an amazing model of what this looks like!

Satan's goal with believers in the Gospel (1 Cor. 15:1-4) is to neutralize us and make us think of past sins. We need to be in the Word daily, put on the full armor of God daily, and pick up our cross daily and follow Jesus. I found this channel last night from a recommendation on Tik Tok, and I've been devouring the content. Praise the Lord for men and women who can explain Scripture like this, and you can as well!

It’s a year to the day since I led the funeral of my best friend, who died at 39 years old. I miss him so much. I wonder if there’s a sofa in heaven where he and I can watch tv together and drink tea again. The idea of him being in Hell is unthinkable to me. I run into hope when I realise God loves him even more than I do.
