Hi there - I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! 😊 I love watching others play games like Rust, SCUM, and DayZ, though I’m not as big on the PvP side of things. I’ve heard Rust has a solo option if you host your own server or find a quieter one, so maybe I’ll give it a go someday!

Yeah, that sure is an ending. XD It divides opinions, as it's such a big change in the tone of the game, like you said (I personally did like it, but I get it if everyone's not enjoying it). You did really well in that scene, though! XD Btw, there was one hint about someone being still around: the fresh flowers at Sofia's grave. Oh, and the power being turned off at the hospital! It did have power when you first went there, but when you find the switch in the basement it's in off position, which means someone must have pulled it. I think those are the only things, though, at least all that I can remember. Also, the time capsule _is_ buried by that big stone at the cemetery... it's funny you didn't get a prompt to dig there. You should get that when you go there after you've read the diary entry about it. If you feel like it, you can try again from your latest save file, there is some interesting stuff there. Also, there are other endings to the game, if you're curious to get them. Not that there'd need to be a video about all that, just for your own amusement. ^^ Anyways, I'm happy you enjoyed the game! Painscreek is such a little hidden gem to me.

Thank you! That scene caught me off guard - I was panicking! :D Good call on the flowers - I saw them on the grave but never made the connection. I didn't notice the lights in the hospital so that's a good catch! The completionist in me might have to go back and see about that capsule. And the other endings. I did enjoy the game! I'm actually a little sad that it's over. I always looked forward to jumping back in. And btw, thank you so much for all of your help! It was so nice to explore the game with someone. :)

@natzzz3862 The full release is out! I did the demo as a first look but will play the full release next time. 🙂 There are way more items to play around with in the FR. But yeah, this game is definitely one that you can chill out with for a few hours.

Well, Bernard did have a bloody knife hidden in his house.... :/ Good job opening the desk! XD I got to admit I laughed a little when I saw you starting with the wrong number first ^^;; But tenacity's rewarded! (And yeah, I too thought you already had the bishop, but nope. I had to check where it's found, and if you do the stuff I mentioned in the prev episode, you should get it, too... not that you need it anymore, of course.) And yeah, there's a grate you're missing. It's not too easy to notice, so... if you want, I can give a hint? Though I would probably do all the other stuff first before worrying about that. Oh, and you should have picked up a tool you noticed ;)

Haha a little bit of a rollercoaster with that desk and the chest pieces. :D I'll keep looking for the last grate - I think I got all the obvious ones throughout town. I'll keep looking for it in the next episode, but if I still can't find it, I'll ask for a hint. Speaking of - You mentioned there was something I could do yet in one of the homes with the hammer. Give me a hint on that! I know there was a jammed door (Andrew's house) and drawer (Wanda's house), but not sure if there was something else? I missed grabbing the shovel, didn't I. :) I thought the placement of that was odd!

@@whimsyplays Yeah, that particular grate really isn't the easiest to spot. I just went to check that I remember correctly where it is, and then I ran by it twice before noticing it. XD It's in the shadow which might partly be why it's so tricky. As for the hammer, it's one of the things you mentioned. Btw, there was a note somewhere, I think in the shed at the mansion, about Oliver having borrowed some tools, maybe they were randomly lying around in his photo lab cause he was planning to return them soon (and then never did as it didn't really matter anymore)

I just remembered one thing I was going to say, if you find the time capsule, there's something that's buried with it but it's not in the capsule, and if I hadn't known about it, I would have totally missed it, cause for some reason I wasn't getting the prompt to pick it up. I had to try several times from different angles before I finally could do that. I don't know if that was just a glitch in my game or a common problem, so I'm mentioning it just in case.

This sort of reminds me a of a game called Little Kitty, Big City. If you've not played it, I could really rec it for you! Had some glitches but overall it was really fun and cute.

XD Great progress again in this part. ^^ Checking out the house (the key of which you got) is definitely important, but just a reminder (as you didn't mention this among the things to do in the next episode): you could also try to check out Matthew's present for Sofia. You should have a list of his favorite places too at this point. ^^

I was excited to get back into it after this episode so I did play again and already have another episode recorded. I still need to edit it but I did get a bit stuck (you'll see why) so you're reminder to check out Matthew's present to Sofia was helpful! I'll add that to my list - Although I'm not sure I've found his favorite places yet!? I'll check all the documents/journals again. It's going to be a sad day when the series is done! I'm very much enjoying this game.

@@whimsyplays I can imagine there are many things at this point it's easy to get stuck with. ^^; (I remember myself giving up and googling some stuff, despite having seen a playthrough before). If you want a hint about something specific, let me know! Actually, I was trying to think of stuff you can do at this point that hasn't been mentioned. One thing is that you can still use the hammer for something else in a certain house (should I tell you which one?) Also, there's the time capsule that Scott, Trisha and Derrick hid. I think you probably have (after the next episode that I haven't yet seen) the tools to find it. (Who knows, maybe you've already done that!) Oh, and Father Calvin's birthday... there's a way to figure that out. ^^ Many of these things aren't really stuff you _need_ to do to solve the case, but they do add to the story.
