Im not sure how tall the ceilings are but they are definitely tall enough lol. Chatsworth is located in the San Fernando Valley. Its about 30 miles north of Downtown LA

very nice adu build. many look copy n paste and granted bc it can be hard to design a small space but you did good here with the lightning. clear door, good amount windows and nice view of grass from bedroom. 👋🏼

I will stick with Illinois, my paid off house runs me 175/mth in taxes now for a 1k sq ft home. 4 grocery stores within 10 min drive, Doctors and Dentist 5 min drive.

Nice, just finished mine in Sacramento, CA. 746 sq ft. 2 BR 1 BA...Rent is going at $1600 a month. Also converted my garage into a studio adu 483 sq ft. Rent $1000 a month.

@@fesukhan5082 I used a local contractor(s) to do both ADUs. If you know construction, it would be saved you money. My garage is a Jr. ADU studio, it was $110,000 which consisted of 483 sq ft. My backyard ADU is 746 sq ft, 2BR 1 Ba for S200K. I used HELOC and my savings.

The property owner is going to make the renter pay the monthly mortgage payment on the entire property. $33,600 a year rent to live in a crackerbox, with just a parking space and no garage. Ridiculous.

That living room/kitchen is small, and the room behind it is big. Could have moved the wall 2 feet towards the room to make this place more enjoyable. Living room looks very cramped if a family of 4 lives here

Own a 2300 sqft home on two acres my mortgage was $1350. I love LA but I also like to enjoy life while I'm living. I have family in LA making six figures and they are squeezing by some live in Compton paying 3k a month.

$2800 hundred a month for how many people probably two families will sardine there in order to pay that kind of rent 😬California’s prices are unbelievable😮 if you retired early Social Security is $957 a month if you’re lucky and have another pension you’ll probably end up with $1600 a month and that’s if you didn’t plan for the future you’ll end up homeless and that’s the only way to participate in the programs for homeless where they help you with rent but only to the ones that accept those sectors most of the time you’re in a list sleeping in the streets 😢That’s why a lot of seniors decide to move outside of California or live in a van😢Youngsters are starting to live in vans and saving their money for the future when they’re ready to settle down 😊
