Too bad there isnt a loop on the inside middle to hang it inside out to dry, over a window? door? anywhere? lol always a stool. they make some that are interesting for elders, that have a u shape in the middle for washing! I think it needs a zipper to let you out of it faster. Just watched a youtube showing the shower in a Halo Shower by Storyteller Overland that closes with magnets, perhaps you could do that to this one? just cut down top to bottom and glue magnets to one side and tiny washer to the other. I tend to be claustrophobic and i like your shower but yeah i need to be able to get out quickly ;)

It's so important to be efficient with our small living spaces! I'm going through my van now and my first "keeper" item after my essential tools was my HomeFi hotspot. It's compact and has made remote go so much more smoothly, especially when I'm traveling or don't want to use insecure public networks. Thanks for the video!

🤨 Looks like you just made the product worse. Now you have to add ice to your tiny cooler more often. And that mini freezer just adds heat to your van. So you are making your environment hotter… to then turn around and use the heat the freezer pumped into the van to freeze ice packs so you can cool it down. This is lady that lives in a van level dumb.

I wear Luna’s mono gordo for around town on pavement. You need Oso Flaco for the “bendy” kind. I wear those around the house. One day (hopefully) they will see a trail.

I drilled a hole through the roof and used a 1 inch pipe nipple to act as a bit of a conduit for the wire, and also to prevent water from entering the cabin of the van. The two solar panel wires are 48 V DC open circuit which is quite high for 12 V battery but it doesn’t matter because I’m using the maximum PowerPoint tracking charge controller, which are very common nowadays. I’m using the epever 40 amp controller and that is connected to three lithium ion batteries that charge up to 32 V because they are for a 24 V inverter but the car battery is only 12 V so I bought a little DC to DC converter that can make 70 A of current at 12 V from the higher voltage of the other lithium batteries. I set the little trim pot which is a little rotating dial on the converter to 14.0 V and that way it acts like an electronic alternator for my van.. This has been five years now and I’m never going to repair my alternator and I have tons of power . My solar panel is 230W. I’ve added four more charge controllers in my van with the option to add up to 10,000 W of solar panels so that I will have enough power to run pretty much anything at all including charge my other electric car Good luck

gluing to plastic, the surface needs to be sanded with at least 120 grit to key the surface and give the medium a chance to have something to grab a hold of. nice setup

I'm 60 in 20 days. Anticipating moving to a van/minivan (no home base) just after that "milestone." Consequently, I've been watching a lot of YT stuff on what I guess is being called van life. To be honest, I started watching because Kelly is attractive... have continued to watch because I'm learning and appreciate the straightforward approach. The fact that mistakes are left in and addressed, helps the rest of us realize how we too could come across the situation and ways to avoid it.

Why would you carry in the front seat?Just put it in the dam back sea and then if you have to want something to drink other than the one that you put in the front seat, the can of Cocoa, whatever that's pulled off to the side.Don't put that thing in the front seat

Excellent information. FYI: If you have to use bear spray, you will be sh**ting in your pants, adrenaline will be pumping so you might drop spray. Hang on & don’t stop spraying. It still might charge you, just keep spraying.

I like all the creative people out there with mini vans! We have a small 17 foot trailer with small separate shower and tub but its only like 3.5 feet long! I tried shower once! Cheap head falling down wetting entire bathroom over the curtain. I do what my mother did when we station wagon camped. I bring a dish tub anyway! We boil water for coffee so pour rest in that tub in the bathtub! Add some cold water! Washcloth bath! My mother wash clothed us sitting on back seat on a towel in our station wagon when we took 2 week trips up and down California's coast. And no curtains! And we city camped too!

You have done a great video, there's actually a solar panel manufacturer who has put this altogether in their instructions, I used Method 1, I'm not sure if the link will work, so I'll place the name of the document and hopefully when you google it, you'll be able to find it, I did this more than a year ago and it worked through hurricanes, hale storms, gale force winds no problem at all. I also live in a mini van and have ribs on my roof, so I used gorilla tape as an extra to hold it down, but only covered the sides in between each cell and then gorilla tape on the top and bottom (without covering any solar panel cells), the whole length of the solar panel to make sure the tape in between the sides didn't come off, it didn't, I was so happy with it and it's also easy to remove with no mess afterwards. Try this in a search engine, hope it works...www.exotronic.com.au/buying/buying-guides/solar-panel-wiring-guide/

Thank you for sharing this. I have the GoSun Go as well - but have never used it. I plan to soon and the pizza looks great. I may try to roll all the sauce/toppings inside and crimp the dough closed over the top - make a pizza tube or roll. The cookie - I'd still eat it. Gooey with some vanilla ice cream :) Gonna find your apple pie one next!

Don't understand why you use a sink wich you can't block. If you do your dishes you have a saucepan. Gray water goes in to a tank with a big opening . Probably I'm the only doing thing totaly different

For myself I try to not use insecticide vapors (perithrenoid derivatives specifically). Now you can use on skin or your clothes « icaridin » a safer and more efficient insecticide. You could also add thiamin(B1 200mg/day) to your diet that which will keep mosquitoes away thanks to the repellent smell of your sweat, smell imperceptible to humans.

Important to remember that you need to use DC devices as much as possible, not AC. You get SO much more power out of the generator using DC. And LED lights, never Edison lights. I would get 1 night with my CPAP unit using AC, or 3-4 nights with DC.
