Your explanation of these stitches is so good. I love the way you use your needle to point out where to put your stitch. Well done!!

What are the repeat rows on this or is it a repeat of all rows
@crochetwithmay
@crochetwithmay 2 ай бұрын
This one is just a small square sample, it does not have any repeating rows. For center out with repeating rows, the graph will show which rows to repeat and which stitches within the rows 🥰

I love how you attach the new color. I haven’t seen it before.

Do you figure how to change the colors by the picture and the type of stitch required, single back loop only or drop down doubles?

Robin How did you know that row 4 was not a color change in the pink box but row 5 was. That’s my confusion in color changes
@crochetwithmay
@crochetwithmay 5 ай бұрын
Row 4 is worked only with the black yarn, as indicated by the border stitch colors on the far right and far left. Remember that overlay mosaic graphs represent what the final product will look like but you do not change color based only on the box color. The Guide to Overlay Mosaic Crochet included in your pattern goes over how to read the graphs 🥰

If you look at the row color indicators, that will help you see which rows will alternate colors!

I wish we could see up close your work and see exactly where you are putting your stitches . It would help specially us beginners. Thanks for your work, please take this as a good criticism and not a negative one❤ I know tutorials are hard work. I just can’t see where your putting your stitches

How do you know how many sc to start with in the MR

Hi! Each pattern will specify in the instructions how many stitches go into the magic ring

At 6:40 changing colors for row 2, you said to stitch into the slip stitch from previous row. Did you mean the chain stitch? It's hard for me to see which stitch you are joining in! Should I join into the slip atitch or the first sc ( or dc)of the corner? Thanks!
@crochetwithmay

Hi! I did mean the chain stitch, not the slip stitch, oops! You should finish the round by slip stitching into the first SC or DC of the corner stitches. I hope that's helpful; It can definitely be difficult to see at the beginning of a piece!

@@crochetwithmay how is that indicated ?????? all corners are just circles on the chart
@crochetwithmay
@crochetwithmay Жыл бұрын
Sorry! Just saw your reply. Corner circles on the chart indicate a chain stitch. The stitch to the left or right (in the colored box) indicates whether it is a SC or DC in the corners
