What a stupid response. So you are only stopping for 3-4 mins are you? If you don’t haven’t thing constructive to say I’m not sure why you bother. This took a few minutes and could easily be sped up if I wasnt doing it slowly to show people who might be interested. I used this as an awning a few times for a weekend set up.

Naaah not impressive. Just stick to brands like Aer, Bellrou or Alpaka. They do it right.

I’ve since sold it because it was a little bit too small but all it needed was a slightly longer strap and it would’ve been perfect. The brands that you mention are actually quite expensive although they are very nice.

If a leaky valve, get Fillmore valves and you’ll never have a leak again.
@TimFromWales2 ай бұрын
I’m just converting to tubeless so problems will be solved. Still don’t get the internal puncture? I got the tube out and it inflated with no issues. Might be a very very tiny hole with contact to the rim (if that’s what you mean). But I am more inclined to blame the valve
@michaelmartin43832 ай бұрын
Sometimes you can get internal punctures. These are generally caused by bike shops selling high pressure wheels with low pressure rim tapes. The high pressure forces the inner tube through the low pressure rim tape.

I have had Gen 5 Trek Slash 9.8 high end model. Then got Trek rail 9.8 gen 4 also high end model. I was on rail for a while, then tried normal bike and it felt absolutely horrible lmao. It was like the breaks are on something. I think ebike messes the subconcious speed expectation from power application and nervous system feel. Idk i think ebikes are way more fun. Only positive normal bike is the downhill cause they are so light. Maybe ill keep slash for straight up downhill, or sell idk.

Is the san quentin better suited to mixed riding ( city / road and trail riding ) Or would the rift zone be just as good at mixed riding ?
@TimFromWales3 ай бұрын
Either will work but if you are planning on city/road riding I would question what type of trails you plan to ride and maybe look at the Bobcat

@@TimFromWales well im in south wales mate so thinking taff trail sort of terrain. Its a mixed bag of roads, gravel paths, woodland etc etc
@TimFromWales3 ай бұрын
@@23lnp well it doesn’t sound like you need a RiftZone (full suspension) and the San Quentin is a 650b funn hardtail which will work but for gravel, taff trail type of rides a 29er like the Bobcat might be better while we are talking Marin. @marinbikes

What a nightmare! Had a mechanical on my Ebike last week Mate. Channels stuck on the chainring and mech trashed. Bike mechanic reckons the chain got caught on one of the teeth on the chainring and as it rotated ripped the mech forward and trashed it. Only damage thankfully was the derailleur but have also ordered a new cassette, chainring and chain too. Thought it best to replace the lot.

What a strange mechanical failure, I had a similar failure but it was just the mech cage that got twisted, and a stick managed to get between the plates, The stick hit the ground as I stopped and dug in, the weakest point went bent cage plates
