@@PenguinPillowPet oh wow! Was it still going strong? Mine has 112k on it, it’s the most expensive car I’ve ever owned so I’ve took care of it within an inch of its life! When my friends get in they’re always saying how new it looks! Always had it serviced ect ect, I’m hoping to get 200k out of it but we’ll see! 😂

@PenguinPillowPet what about maintenance wise, is it more expensive to maintain or is it about the same as any other mainstream car.

@@DriftingStudent This car was very reliable! I sold it to CarMax in 2020. Being FWD, I had lots of traction issues. The two cars I’ve had since (a 2019 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack and a 2020 Volvo V60 Cross Country) are AWD wagons that haven’t had these issues.

1:51 you know if you go into the little menu in between the gauges you should be able to option the car to do a dashboard sweep upon startup like your volvo, also nice volvo :)

Would you mind showing the keys for these vehicles and unlocking them as you approach front the front or rear so we can see the lights flashing too? Also show you inserting the key/doing whatever you need to do to start the vehicle and let the camera focus in on the dashboard. Maybe put the vehicle into each get and show backup cameras/ any other fun features. 1:35 thanks!

I don’t know when I’ll film a tour or how long viewers would stick around, but a couple personal updates prompted this truck: 1. My sister is getting married next month. With my brother-in-law riding with the family over the past two years, any other family vehicle was tight for five. I have a girlfriend now, too, so we could transport six people with this! 2. The Canyon’s touch screen was messed up, and I was concerned about its long term reliability if it was under my care. I drive 3K hard miles per month, and I’d prefer something with a warranty in that routine. Also, the Canyon was on its OEM tires. I hope to film a video about finding this truck in the midst of high-SEO “Trucks are Crazy”, “Market is Collapsing,” etc. videos. Stay tuned!

His new truck is a jump from the old one and finally with 4wd but I'm surprised that there isn't a multi function tailgate.
@PenguinPillowPet8 ай бұрын
It’s a big jump both figuratively and literally! It’s an early 2023 (November 2022 build date), so the multi function tailgate and the steering wheel lock are credited per the sticker.

My outback got over 92k within this month and no problems so far besides maintenance, new battery, new brakes, and a differential fluid change in the future someday but they did free inspection when my car was in for alignment at the dealer back in September, my dad's honda crv is over 82k with no problems, and my mom's outback at over 145k with no problems besides oil consumption with a bit of oil added between changes but needs new water pump and thermostat someday.

Even if the sunroof is angled, stuff could get in there. You have to check the drains yourself. Also, always look under the car after oil change. I have a '15 SE Sportwagon with 70k and things are good still. What a bad dealer.

@@PenguinPillowPet Why pick Volvo over a truck or any other car?
@PenguinPillowPet Жыл бұрын
The main reason was the automatic parallel parking. Most makes, such as Nissan and Subaru, don’t even offer it on their lineups. I was limited to Ford, Stellantis, and luxury brands. Volvo has a unique lineup, including wagons, great depreciation for the market, awesome CPO coverage, and the ability (if needed) to run Regular on the T5. Everything about the product family was perfect. Of course, the V60 CC is sized like the Alltrack but much nicer. Thank you for asking!
@Daconthocon78 Жыл бұрын
@@PenguinPillowPet My car doesn't have auto parallel parking, so I had to use hands on approach with dependence on the side mirrors, back up camera, back window and rear parking sensors. Luckily, I don't parallel park often, but I back into parking spaces in parking lots so I can drive out without backing up.
