Love all your early P-Board videos. Quick question. Do you miss the pedals at all or is the QC delivering everything for you?
@WorshipGuitarSound5 сағат бұрын
I am a huge fan of the QC, I truly believe it covers so much ground. It delivers everything I need from a guitar rig. It acts like a ultra flexible rig with all the options I would want and built in switcher. Nothing beats a great board with all the options though.

I ran Archetype Mateus Asasto via my laptop and Logic this last Sunday at church and I loved it, I am an AX8 guy but I think I might look into getting a QC one day, these sound so good!

I bet that was awesome. Archetype Asato has all the PNW stuff covered.
@joeyvpoisonfree6 күн бұрын
@@WorshipGuitarSound I agree, I have the Morgan Suite and the Asato is so much easier to dial in, it was almost perfect straight out of the box. Just tweaked the pedals in front of the amp a bit and I ran some ValhallaDSP reverb/delay after. Heavenly

Most of our EGs use an AC30 at church. I brought a Marshall stack one Sunday and got more compliments from the sound guys on it than my Tonex or the Vox!

I’ve tried so hard to use modelers. Could never get into it. I know others who can make them sound great but not for me. Nothing like a real amp!

One time my MD brought an amp for me to try for an upcoming youth conference and it sounds glorious. The air you get from a real guitar amp's speaker pushing and pulling is indescribable.

There's something there for sure! it's more present, responsive, and full and cutting all at the same time.
@jaydenfriesen12 күн бұрын
I never stopped using them. Went w/d/w with an iridium for wet and Tyler JT-46 for dry for a few years. Was awesome tbh, but tube amps internet with wet effects differently and is way more musical.
@jaydenfriesen12 күн бұрын
Also I use the Suhr Reactive Load IR and love it. Need a second one now for my Bad Cat. Wish they had a phase switch. Would be useful as my amps are out of phase. Had a Goodwood junction that flipped phase but sold it forgetting that these amps need it 😢 (haven’t run them in stereo for years). I wonder if there’s a cheaper way to flip phase. I tried with my PBC/10 but didn’t seem to do anything. Odd thing is, when I turn my DMMTT on it sounds like the phase flips… weird!
@thatasianguitarguy12 күн бұрын
@@jaydenfriesen Dude I've wondered the same thing. I was thinking the other day, there's gotta be SOME cheap easy way to just have a phase flip on the board. The cheapest thing I could find that wasn't a huge space suck was the Suhr buffer or Custom Audio one by MXR.
@thatasianguitarguy12 күн бұрын
I absolutely agree. It handles it a certain way that computers just can't seem to get right.
