I've been having a blast on this whoop and has made me finally like whoops. I also had the Mobula6 and it was fun but this thing has increased my skills and ability to react quicker. It has taught me a lot from such a small package.

Are these less sharper than the the normal ones? The normal ones are almost to sharp on the tip and hurt my thumbs.

I've never updated a drones firmware before. Can I update my Hummingbird V3.1 BNF to the new v4.5.1 release on the nbd-betaflight github page? I don't want to brick my drone so if anyone could clarify I'd greatly appreciate it. If I can do I just use betaflight's firmware flasher and load the new release into the load firmware file tab?

I want to get into tiny whoops. What are your thoughts on the tinygo 4K? It's analog, but at least it can record 4k onto the mirco sd. I want something small to practice indoors. I already have a cinelog 20, but i still crash way too much indoors, so i was thinking maybe a tinywhoop would help me practice. I dont want to have to buy new analog goggles. that's why i was considering the tinygo 4k since it comes with cheap googles just for indoor practice. So could anyone here please share their thoughts. Thanks in advance

I am all new to fpv and just got this done😅

I wanted to like this one, but it constantly comes loose and shudders. As the gummies get compressed, the extra vibration leads to uncontrollable throttle and potential flyaways. The propellers cut into the batteries, and my flight times are absolutely terrible. I'm averaging about 2 minutes if i try to do anything remotely fun with it.

I am waiting for mine to come next week.

I tried that with my 7 inch but it was too forward heavy, so I 3d printed a mount for the middle of the quad, kind of like a door wedge that tilted the camera 25°, used the frame screws to secure it and strapped the camera to it. I also installed the battery to the bottom of the frame. It worked but it still flew a little too heavy, so I bought a cinelifter. 😂 the experiments were fun though.

Why are you surprised this works? It isn't uncommon to use full cinema cameras on FPV drones for filming. They usually use larger drones or X8 drones but that is just to do with weight. As long as your thrust to weight ratio is greater than 2:1 then it should fly fine, higher ratios mean more power and manouvreability. Keeping the centre of mass near the centre of the drone is advisable too. Another reason people use go pros is for the crash resistance, a go pro would handle a crash much better than the camera you used.
