I could definitely circle back around to doing the easier ones, at least. As I said in the video, it's just hard to find motivation and interest in something that I haven't meaningfully improved on in a number of years. This is doubly true considering that a lot of the faster double bass songs would have been really tough for me even at my drumming peak.

Not only that, but even though the song featured in this video is the mentioned Mötley Crüe song which is "Shout at the Devil", but for all of this madness, this run counts as an FC, and not just that, but this game (Guitar Hero 2)'s stuff was later reused for Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s as well, you know what I mean

The game is definitely very rewarding. DJ Hero FCs are absolutely brutal to go for (especially with rewinds), but damn, they're satisfying.

​@@droyal1994 It's impossible for me to give a truly unbiased answer, but in addition to having way more games/engines to deal with, I feel like guitar just has a much wider range and depth of skills required to FSFC. DJ Hero only has two games and they're functionally very similar. You can also use euphoria and forgo rewinds to make several songs easier to FC, which just isn't a thing on guitar. (Could you imagine if star power auto-strummed, for example?) DJ Hero does have a pretty high average FC difficulty, but I'm not sure its highest songs are proportionally worse than guitar's.

An FC of this would be absolutely ludicrous. To be fair, though, even getting the easier turntable FCs is really hard, lol. It tends to take several runs to really figure each part out before I can put the entire song together when going for FCs. That’s partially why I enjoyed playing “Galvanize” though since I was just having fun and seeing how well I could do without worrying about an FC. It isn’t very often that I play something without the intent of FCing these days, lol.

This is true. Multiple Death Magnetic tracks have similar phrase-count discrepancies, but they occur because of differences in phrase separation, not from freeform sections.

That isn't something I had considered prior to uploading the video, but after talking with resident DJ Hero expert parz a bit, I think your suggestion is probably correct. I've also updated the description to account for this new knowledge, as I no longer would count this run as an FC. I have included a proper FC run in the description as a replacement.

It's a good change, especially since it makes the chart consistent with the other choruses. I just found it interesting that the chart had received a change in the first place. Situations like this one fascinate me for whatever reason.

Yeah, I didn't expect it to be troublesome going into it, but it's definitely the second hardest FC in the game for me. The phrase separation in that chart is truly absurd, especially during the bridge. GHL doesn't actually show how many phrases a song has, but I counted 130. (I could have miscounted, but it's somewhere in that vicinity.) Another issue with the song is that it makes fairly consistent use of a larger range, making it hard to tell where to sing. If you've seen my "Grounds for Divorce" video, you already know how weird GHL gets with a wider vocal range. If they had just made a standalone vocals mode, maybe it would've been alright, but the entire vocals display is too damn small, lol. The saving grace of GHL vocals is that the game only requires 50%+ of a phrase to be hit to maintain combo. Had the threshold been closer to the 75%-80% range of prior games, some of these tracks would be borderline impossible.
