I love the style of Reiniger's animation, but sadly vision, translation, a short time frame and 3rd time of using the AE didn't do it justice!

Thank you for the feedback. I haven't revisited animation since graduation, but it is definitely food for thought. To create more ambience and suspense is a great idea.

Hi Amy, it's from a Roald Dahl narration CD I was given as a gift a year or so before. The inspiration came from a newspaper excerpt of Dahl narrations older than I am.

Such an odd art style, but I quite like it. :D Made me laugh when Vince was pulling shapes. You've done a good job :D

Crocky-Wock is a story by Roald Dahl - a sort of darker, Welsher alternative to Dr Seuss.

Really good work! My only suggestion would be to use close-ups or choice images to hide Crocky-Wock's entire face until the very end. The whole story builds up to the climax of Crocky-Wock's appearance, so it would have better impact to reserve him to that moment. The images of his scales as he creeps up the stairs, and sections just showing his paw or teeth would be perfect.

This is great! Captured the weirdness and eccentricity of the series perfectly

Fairly nicely done. Reminds me of Lotte Reiniger's animation. I think the male voice was the better of the two - the female voice wasn't acting very seriously.

Yup....did it all in 3ds max...bit pointless to use that program for it but it was an interesting learning curve - it maxed out on over 2000 seperate pieces
