I was there. They left him outside of the venue with just a bunch of people after the show. We sat there talking to him at the time not realizing what exactly had happened until long after. Interesting times. That lineup at Saints and Sinners was next level. Drop Dead Gorgeous killed it lol

~10hrs later: I may have misunderstood your initial comment, the original upload of this song on my channel is the demo version the band self-released on Myspace. This one is the studio version that was only released on the Japanese cd release for This Is Your Way Out

My understanding is that at one point Chris Roberts and Roetter were both in the band and were going to be co-vocalists. While recording TIYWO, Roberts was let go from the band, but he may have either laid down these vocals already or they may have repurposed his demo vocals Since it's pretty standard for American bands to include a bonus track for Japanese releases, Emarosa may not have had additional material at the time, so they MAY have just decided to use these because they didn't have additional material w/Roetter
