You are very welcome. Canning is not common in the UK. I've been canning for 35 years, and there's a myth about it. I love home cooking Ive made this dish in canning and a normal meal. I was on youtube looking for problem solving with my dishwasher then I saw you haha but I sorted problem and gained a lady of heart in cooking x

where did you get that funnel? Does it hold it up off the jar so air can escape?

I’m not sure where I purchased it I’ve had it a long time , it just helps to keep the rims of the jar cleaner

If you roast the cut up chicken about 15 minutes at 350° before you use in in canning it comes out with a lot nicer texture and looks amazing. Recipe looks delicious. Just wanted to pass on that tip :)

I’m wondering if it will be good without the wine or mirin because I don’t have either 🤔
@TheMillerLifeKitchen

Mirin would be necessary for the flavor but wine in any recipe can be substituted with broth

Those are freezer jars. Nobody freezes like they use to in jars. But when doing a search for them look for "ball freezer jars"

What an easy, delicious casserole, Beth. I love all the flavors in this. I bet it does taste like sweet and sour chicken. Makes sense that it would. I love good old Corning ware casserole dishes. I grew up with them and they are still my go to casserole dishes. I’m with you on the cilantro. Just not a fan of it. It tastes like the clippings from mowing your lawn, to me anyways, lol. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe.
