mawlid is BIDDAH. there is no such thing as "good bidah". all bidah is haram.
@AmericanIslamicSocietyКүн бұрын
Likely you state this out of lack of knowledge dear brother. I sincerely recommend you reading up on Prophet's seerah before stating something as blunt as you did. No, not all bid'ah are haram.

@@AmericanIslamicSociety are you shia? if not then look at Sunan al-Nasa’i 1578. he says كل. that means EVERY. so EVERY bidah is misguidance.

Are you an expert on interpreting hadees?? I would say many Ulama of the past and present would reject your assertion. It's the Muslim scholarship that delineated the different forms of bid'ah. While a minority of Islamic scholarship holds that there are no other forms of bid'ah, a great majority of scholars have shown you cant have a narrow understanding of deen! Otherwise, it would be a "bad" bid'ah when Sayyiduna Uthman ibn Affan radiAllahu anhu decried a second azan on Fridays. Here's another one, non of the duas performed in Ramadan at end of taraweeh during salat with hands raised for dua can be proven from hadees or asaar sahaba!! It is done as mustahab amal by the hanbali and shafai's, including the ghair muqallids. Please brother, dont be an extremist. Just like making dua during taraweeh/witr with hands raised is not haram, no other good mustahab acts that were not done by Prophet alaihissalatu wasaslam are not haram.

@@AmericanIslamicSociety I'll be responding to this in multiple parts (comments) at multiple times and in different areas each time. please don't think im doing a straw man fallacy. first of all, no ulama who follow the salaf would reject this. this is because in MULTIPLE Hadith it says all bidah is to be rejected. The one I gave you, "Sunan al-Nasa'i 1578 in which it says كل. كل means every. so in the prophets khutbah he wa kullu bidahtin dhalala. and every bidah is dhalala. dhalala means misguided. correct me if I'm wrong. and the second Hadith in imam an-Nawawi's fourty Hadith. number 5. it says that bidah is to be rejected if it was not commanded by them. what you did was a straw man fallacy in which you ignored everything I said prior to this. Although I won't hold this against you, I just wanted to point it out. now, the sahaba/salaf used the word "Bidah Hasana" not referring to literal bidah. it was referred to as a Sunnah that was abandoned but was brought back. this includes taraweeh. the prophet stopped doing taraweeh every night because he was afraid that it might become fardh to do. If I'm not wrong it was Uthman Ibn A'ffan who brought it back. you also claimed that he created a bidah of the second athan? im not sure on this specificallly but Uthman is apart of the khulafaa arrashedeen. this means that he is rightly guided etc. I'll get back to you in more detail. Inshaa'Allah. Please don't think I'm attacking you but I want you to follow the salaf and reject All bidah. Assalamualaikum

forgive me, it was Umar ibn Al-Khattab who brought taraweeh back.
