I work for a recycling company. This is mostly bullshit. Metal comes out. The glass they littlerally just crush and we dump it in the land fill. It's cheaper to make it than recycle it. Most plastic go in the landfill as well. They go to a recycling center. But there a lot of it gets broken down and sent to a landfill.
