According to the valve covers that engine is a 312 cu in engine, unless it has been changed it is not a 292. The valve covers on a 292 should just have thunderbird on them.

My favorite Cadillac Brougham! They are especially beautiful in black sapphire metallic paint, the 5.7 engine and the real spoke wheels. A handsome vehicle!
