A question id like to ask anyone else.who was there if they remember it After bruno won this this fight he had an interview at the brentwood theatre where members of the public attended. Now my father who does talk a load of crap said to me i spoke to don king about how mike tyson was and he told.me mike was fine Now i was only a kid at the time but i dont remember seeing don king there let alone speaking to him so im reaching out to anyone else who remembers being there on that day if they can remember the same?

Bruno was always a dirty fighter. His holding and hitting was never stopped by British referees. Bruno should have been disqualified dozens of times. What does it cost to buy a referee?

Such an incredible moment, remember it well. I went out for a pint with my friends, amongst them, Ben Stokes, Mark Pearn (future Team GB national hockey captain) and good late friend, Doug Stump (then all England Under 18 hockey players). During our drink, me and Doug liked the idea of watching the bout as it was on, but not in our pub, as this was so many years ago, not many places had it on live, but I offered to provide a lift and off we all went, about 5 of us crammed into my Rover Metro 🤣 we got to said pub just in time, ran in and off it went, fantastic night 👌 loved every minute, though in the enthusiasm of the night, I had more than the then legal limit of 2 and stupidly drove home on 4, not my finest hour and the only time I’ve driven intentionally over the limit as a teen of 18 years old. Many moons later, I moved to Leicestershire in Ashby-de-la-Zouch and as chance would have it, Bruno lived there or his Wife owned a business there, so he’d regularly be seen locally which was ace ✅ Now we tend to only see celebs like the great actor Stephen Graham casually walking through town, he keeps bumping into my Mum and having a photo with her, so small World indeed 🤣

I’ve boxed for 20 years across many gyms. Bruno looks like the endless supply of meatheads who come in and think they’re the shit until they actually start training they can’t even hold their gloves up for 3 minutes without choking on wind. But Bruno? Probably the biggest monster I have ever seen who could actually box. I would shit my pants if I ever saw someone who looked like him and could actually box. It really shouldn’t even be possible. What a beast.

I watched all his fights when I was younger. When he was in training he often trained at Ashby-de- zouch in Leicestershire and I was helping my cousin and I was standing on a dumper truck and my cousin said hi to frank and his trainer and they came over so I switched the dumper off and stood up still on the dumper and shook there hands and had a chat and Frank was still taller than me 🤣🤣🤣 Love him, he was and still is great for the sport and this country 👍❤️🇬🇧

I was there at Wembley & and I'd never been so proud of one of our boxers winning that title. Nigel Benn was beating the canvass urging Frank on till the last bell. What a night that was & I got so pissed afterwards 😅. I couldnt believe the lights in the sky saying Frank Bruno WBC World Heavyweight Champion, I'd never seen anything like it before & it still gives me a lump in my throat. I was at Earls Court when Lennox Lewis got his world title by defeating Razor Ruddock but he was awarded it much like Dubios has been now & it just wasnt the same. Nothing will top that night at Wembley. Well done Frank we love you to bits mate. BRUNO BRUNO BRUNO!!
