Hey @paloma_kusov, Thank you for your question. I started out my career in stocking shelves and wanted to get a step up in my career... I pursued software engineering for a bit because everyone thought it was good but as soon as i got my first job in Development, i completely hated it! i knew it was a dead end and had to get out fast... I later on moved into project management/ scrum mastering and later on into consulting and leading large scale transformation programs. Now i run my own consulting business and offer training across the world. I hope this helps;)

@SuhaybCoach
@SuhaybCoach 22 күн бұрын
Hey @millionairenowNYC, Thank you for your question. The answer is no as you will be engaged in all aspects of the business. Remember the scrum master role now is more of a stakeholder engager role more than anything. And having a PSM certificate or SAFe certificate is not enough. You still don't have: 1. Practical implementation skills 2. Management to Business Skills 3. How to execute projects effectively through current modern day tools and techniques You still need to go on a proper transformation program. You can message my team on 00447783984701 to get more information.

Yep, I try to use code from AI and it really sucks bad. Everyone saying an AI will replace coders... I half the time I can't even get a simple script that functions correctly. I even use multiple different AI's too. ChatGPT and CoPilot... one time BOTH produced the exact same "non-functional" code that was spit verbatim to me from Stak Ova flo from someone asking nearly the exact same question I had. There was no solution given, but the AI treated the question as the solution. It's crazy!

First of all. Let's just be honest, this whole video was a promotion for your own company. Secondly, there's no way AI is going to replace programmers anytime soon. And when it does there's going to be a huge demand for people who can talk the programming language and give the AI very specific instructions. If companies began making nearly all of their programmers redundant then how would they justify the price? The competition will also be able to just use AI for a fraction of the cost, it would be a race to the bottom where everybody loses. I can imagine we're all retired by the time you can't tell the difference between a big complicated software made by a few person using AI and a whole company that can ensure higher quality. If anything we're not going to see less demand for programmers that can give instructions, we're going to see more because projects gets completed faster and the companies will need to compensate by taking on a lot more work to maintain the same revenue. A person without a background in programming is never going to be able to instruct an AI to build a complicated system in our lifetime.
@tudorm1203
@tudorm1203 Ай бұрын
Great points. I especially liked when you said that "AI can basically just build things for you already", and also when you mentioned the "nitty gritty" of software engineering, listing as examples "GitHub, debugging, compilers, refactoring, pair programming." That was really cool and really showed your domain-specific knowledge and qualifications to be offering advice. In another timeline, this video is 3 minutes long, and you give software engineers the thoughtful suggestion that they should expand their skillset with some business soft skills so they can be more flexible in future.

Hi, I am Siddik from India. I completed my graduation in 2022. Right now, I am working as a Business Analyst but I want to switch to Scrum Master. However, the challenge is Scrum Master job requires experience of 5+ years and project management skills. I am learning the scrum master skills along with project management. Sometimes, I feel like I should go for the scrum master immediately but sometimes I feel like will they consider me with experience of 2 years? I am kinda lost and would seek your opinion about this

One will need a lot more than a simple 50 question, Scrum master certification to manage projects people and money. Foremost, a PMP certification is paramount, this isn't some joke, there is much at stake here. The PMP is the baseline, and it takes a hell of a lot of study time and understanding of the principles of project management.

I work for a big tech company. Since Agile and scrum masters we lost employees as the "scrum master" is basically a micro manager. Daily standups putting people on the spot does not work and wastes hours of time.
@talye
@talye 2 ай бұрын
Then those scrum masters are not doing scrum. A scrum master should be facilitating an environment where everyone in the team is able to collaborate and self manage. They do not need to attend the daily stand up meeting’s but they do need to teach the team how to do those meetings snd how to time box them. A scrum master who is micro managing is not a scrum master at all.
@Visagate-b6v
@Visagate-b6v 2 ай бұрын
@@talyedon't forget that some people are just difficult to work with. Losing different scrum masters speaks volume about that team. Some people are also terribly poor with providing information or expressing themselves. This original comment above is an insight on how this person speaks or writes, and they're not even talking about something complex, but still can't speak efficiently.
