Awesome low end sound, but if you play one of the 30 inch scale length guitars in a band where does that leave the bass player? Does he/she have to play even lower to compensate? Tom Sisson

Thanks for listening! Great question, i'm not really an expert but what i usually do is, the bass plays in the same octave as the guitar. But i do a pretty extreme hi-pass filter on the guitars so that they dont clash with the bass. EQ'ing to make space for the bass and vice versa is basically what you want to be doing when tuning this low.

Nice cover. Trying to learn this on either my 8 string or 6 string baritone (which is what iv plays it on live now). What is the tuning you’re using?

Hey thanks! I used double drop B i think, so just standard 7 string tuning but with another lower b on the 8. Id def try to learn this one on a baritone because B0 is way to low atleast for my 8 string haha. Oh and i uploaded tabs for the song, you can find them in my description. Anyways, good luck with learning it!

@@finlet3874 So I sat down with it, and I agree, it's definitely F standard or possibly Drop Eb (I mean basically the same thing, just on the second fret for the breakdown) The verse melody is actually pretty easy! The hard part was hearing the heavy parts surrounding the verses clearly, but I'm now pretty sure goes something like: 3-3-3-0-0-0-3-3-3-0-0-0-3-3-3-0 x2 2-2-2-0-0-0-2-2-2-0-0-0-2-2-2-0 x2 ^ that played on the second string, but it sounds morer like he's doing it in power chords on the top 3 strings

@@finlet3874 "small" Modeling amp like Vox VT20X are very good to study the tone world as a beginner. You should maybe invest in one of those thingies, they're just around 200-300 € ;)
