I absolutely love how well this movie is animated. The attention to detail when animati g krang is so good it's almost as if they animated the entire body with the head acting as a real head and not just an ornament on an exosuit. You can see it make subtle movements and expressions as if it's where we should be looking, but the camera focuses on krang himself. It's just so good!

The krang were absolute monsters in this film and seemed pretty much unstoppable (they couldn’t even beat him they had to re seal him to win) but what I’m more terrified of is how they were trapped in the first place, like who managed to pull that off?

This movie was pretty much one big middle finger to the Rise haters. They all doubted this series for Leo's character as a 'cheesy hotshot Ben Schwartz' type instead of the many 'big leader' tropes. But this movie reminds them about 2 things they overlooked 1) It's called *RISE* of the TMNT for a reason. This movie is that reason 2) The 'big leader' Leo was there. He just needed development. That's why Splinter made him the leader in the series finale

I love how the turtles work together to fight against Krang with their own roles Raph and Donnie are both the heavy hitters that damage Krang, Mikey makes sure Krang doesn't get any hits on both of them and Leo is the support, making sure all 3 of them get to where they need to be

0:53 At the very start of this shot, Leo’s pupils are kind of scratched and faded. Then when he closes his eyes and opens them again, they are whole and have a shine. I think that shows how he was just on the edge of unconscious but then he snaps back. Man, the details in this movie are just amazing but it hurts 😭💙

Krang 1 is one badass villain

It’s honestly incredible how amazing this animation is especially considering there’s very little CG used and even if when there is it’s not only blends very well with the to the animation but is also used sparingly and only used during times to help enhance the visuals rather than just relying on CG is a crutch

this might be a hot take but I’m just gonna say it anyways, I think the krang here are much better villains that they were in the 2012 series :3

After all this time, Mikey was the closest brother to Leo all along, When Mikey said that, Leo never given up on us, I’m not gonna give up on him, if Leo ever heard that? Leo would be so proud of Mikey. Both Leo and Mikey are the real heroes of the rise series and movie. But I truly love the underdog take on Leo. And I’m so glad they made Leo more interesting. And I truly got hit hard by his sacrifice. That I drew a picture of him with blue flowers with RIP Leo. I adore this Leo as I adore the original Mikey. But the rise series really shows that this family started in a much darker place. And I truly believe that this series and movie is making it to the ninja turtle history books on it, being much darker than the Mirage comics! And I wonder If there was an Aftermath ending after the sacrifice, that the rabbit Miyamoto Usaki made a special prayer for the Hamato family to get resurrected in a different timeline but with personalities switched. That would make sense with that kind of side story, Of having a second chance of life, the turtles would come back, but in different bodies and switched personalities. This Rise story is the first generation of these turtles, So I wonder if the second generation of the turtles that we’ve all known and grow up with (2003) were the nearly improved version of themselves from their first generation selves… Because I feel that Leo and the original Michelangelo are the same. But either way, Blessed are the underdogs and the misunderstood, For they know true pain and suffering, and sooner or later, will have a major influence on the world.
