Bugga, too easy mate. Sorta reminds me of a certain "shrimp boat" captain. Great technique and not an escapee in sight.

Thanks Capt. for sharing your knowledge/experience on casting, especially the deeper water casting techniques. I'm still perfecting throwing my 10ft net, once I'm there, I may get the courage to upgrade to a 14-footer :-). Thanks for passing on your skills!

Thanks for making these videos, Captain. Very informative. I’ve been catching bait at marker 21 at Stiltsville and Bug Light before is was removed. BTW, I wish they would rebuild that structure.

Betts superpro makes a 5/8 inch net that sinks even faster. But you can’t get them in 14 foot size. I don’t get why people use 3/8 nets as there should always be bait big enough to fit the net. I guess Mahi or snook are little biatches because I use big mullet or big menhaden and catch everything from 20 inch sea trout to 6 foot spinner sharks. Why do Mahi like small pathetic baits? I assume their mouths are small.

Watched this twice, good information. Also watched the GPS video, awsome. What rod and reel would you suggest for fishing mutton and Mahi? I can't afford a rod/reel for every species. Could you do a video on rods and reels combos to cover trolling and bottom fishing?

In hawaii the mesh size should be 2.24 legal and not all states are the same also sellers when purchase of a size in ft and mesh I order indicated and view exact but when I recipe it was nor the size mesh was 1" . Its not right to falsified products
